Aki sushi is fusion at it's finest. Japanese/thai under one roof!!! Getting a few rolls and some thai food at the same time always sends me into food bliss. The staff at Aki are super cool. The food is always fresh and tasty. There are so many food choices Aki sushi will keep you coming back for years. Enjoy

When ever I'm in Long Beach I always head for this place from the airport. My friend Alfredo is friends with the people that run this place so we always get treated like family. I love the vast array of dishes to choose from as well as the generous amount of sushi/sashimi choices. We ordered a good mix of items... More

Looking for something new , I stumbled upon this cool thai/japanese place for lunch. For about 10 bucks you can get many different varieties of bento box...my favorite-grilled salmon, miso soup slad and very fresh sashimi that changes daily! this is what i usually get, there are many, many other choices. Sashimi can be changed for rolls or sushi. Great... More

When I first opened the menu, I could not believe how many choices there was. All of the food is Asian themed, but they have some delicious pad thai noodles, along with some amazing sushi options. I am constantly overwhelmed by the decision of what to eat. But I do always like to start with the soft shelled crab appetizer,... More

This is our "go to" sushi place in Long Beach. Family owned and operated...with Aki himself in a baseball cap behind the bar! Great and attentive service... fantastic food!

Aki's is also known as Baiplu Thai, and has a new sister restaurant on Bellflower Blvd. in Los Altos. I haven't tried the Japanese fare, but the Thai food is out of this world! We had a soup that was a clear broth with veggies--delicious. The Pad See Ew, wide rice noodles with Chinese broccoli and egg and your choice... More

Aki's Sushi is my favorite place in Long Beach (at least for sushi). It is not to be confused with Aki's Sushi Bar on 7th St. Aki is truly a master sushi chef, always serving the freshest fish in simple, never adulterated form. No crazy rolls here (although he does have the standards); this is a place to come for... More
