Cleo, near the famous corner of Hollywood & Vine, is an exceptional restaurant. They serve a Mediterranean cuisine in small plates, so each person orders two or three things; but of course there is a lot of sharing as the dishes come out, which is...More

Block and a half from the theater. Interesting large list of small plates. Food was well prepared and enjoyable. Noise level was low to moderate making for easy conversation. Due to the large theater crowd, service was somewhat slow. Food took a while from the...More

We had a great waiter who did not steer us wrong. Perhaps we ordered a bit much-0 but we loved it all- great veggies ( loved the sprouts and reordered them several times) perfectly done samosa like lamb Shawarma ( biggest hit on the table)...More

The server recommends you each order three (3) of their "small" plates. Ignore their advice…you'll end up with way too much "so-so" food. With Hamilton playing at The Pantages around the corner, they have a built-in audience of unsophisticated diners who want to feel "fancy"...More

We had the opportunity to visit Cleo before seeing Hamilton at the Pantages. Cleo was recommended by a good friend as a "Must eat" restaurant. We made our reservations and when we arrived, although the restaurant was very crowded, we were seated immediately. The decor...More

We went for a last dinner to celebrate our trip to Los Angeles and were sadly disappointed. After reading great reviews we decided on this restaurant, especially as we are extremely familiar with Mediterranean cuisine. From the start of our dinner the atmosphere was uncomfortable....More

A lot of dishes and a meze-like menu. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and they were all incredible! I've never eaten a better hommous and babaganouch!

We went here for my sister's birthday in a group of ten people of all ages. It was dark enough that we took out our phone flashlights to read the menu. It was so loud that we couldn't hear each other. Even to speak to...More

Within walking distance of our hotel, we were referred to Cleo for a light dinner. The tapas part was a minimal menu and the prices were fairly reasonable until the food came out. The portions were very very small for the price and although extremely...More

I agree with JennaCoy. And I would recommend traveling by subway, since Cleo is almost directly across the street from the Vine St. Metro Station. Beats fighting Pantages traffic or paying to park.
