We wanted to celebrate our Salvadoran friends' accomplishment, so we took off to L.A. to Gloria's and met Gloria in person. She was so friendly and made sure we felt in casa. The portions are very large, but we seemed to finish it all except my wife's chicken tortilla soup! The trip was worth it! Such rich flavors! And authentic!... More

This is my second time having dinner here. Twice, I have had great service, great food, and great drinks! Some of my friends have come here after receiving my recommendations. They enjoyed the traditional Salvadorian cuisines.

I have been dining at Gloria's for over 5 years. They have some very good dishes. My two favorites are the 7 Seas Soup and the Carne Adobada dinner. The portions are a good size. The problem sometimes is the service is not organized. Recently I received my dinner and the corn tortillas did not come out for about another... More

For those of you who have read my previous reviews, you know I shoot straight from the hip: no nonsense – just the facts. There are some tell-tell signs if a restaurant is good or not: a full parking lot or being unable to get a reservation. Gloria’s is located in a strip mall with limited parking; but here’s what... Gloria's is a great hidden gem right on the edge of Culver City in Los Angeles. My two favorite dishes are the seven seas soup and the Carne Adobada. There sangria is quite tasty as well. A warning on Saturday nights they can get busy so there can be a wait.

I was a little hesitant when I asked about gluten-free food on the menu, but the staff said nothing had wheat added to it (except the wheat tortillas, obviously) and no soy sauce. They were familiar with the term, which is more than I could say for nearby Versailles. The menu has a lot of standard Mexican but I opted... More

I travel from Las Vegas to LA and I stop by to check on Glorias cafe as I watched it from Triple D. My expectation is high but this place disappoint me. Food were average as I can eat at any Salvadorian restaurant. The worst thing is they charge for a small scoop of sour cream that you eat with... More

Good service, delicious food, extensive menu. Lovely! My boyfriend loves carnitas. But I love the Pupas and the Salvadorean Tamales. It's a great mix of Mexican and Salvadorean food. Bueno!

I love the staff at Gloria's; in particular, the guy (so sorry I am forgetting his name) with the handlebar mustache is my favorite. Gloria and her sister are often seen on the floor as well. Gloria's is quick, delicious, local - and a great place to bring your friends from out of town who want to try something delicious.... More

A friend of Phoenix visited. We all ate the seven sea soup here and in Mexico when on vacation but this one in Gloria's Cafe we all rated #1. Thank you Rene' for the great food and service!
