Another one of our local spots we have appreciated and enjoyed for many years. We stopped in last night, and found delicious new salads, some great fish dishes, pasta, a nicely remodeled dining room, and some great wine selections. We loved the salmon special and I found the flavor combinations in the arugula, heirloom tomato and figs salad spectacular!

It was a slow night when we went and the host was actually our waiter which was good. We had both specials and menu selections and all were just perfect in the cooking, the presentation and ........our enjoyment. Limited wine list but what was avail was just fine. We were offered a comp dessert. It was a lovely evening for... More

This place is good but too expensive. They take themselves way to serious. I had the veal chop. My friend had the salad and it was uninteresting. And there was little business in this place on a Friday. Needs to do this better.

This place got everything right! Great assorted bread basket & herbed oil to start. Salads were crisp - the one with goat cheese (special tonight) was fabulous. The steaks were beautiful & pastas all al dente. Carbonara was delicious! Wine options were extensive & had reasonably priced options. The executive waiter was very knowledgeable & the birthday dessert was a... More

We had excellent homemade ravioli and risotto. Caesar salad was good. Desserts were exceptional! It was a nice quiet room for lunchtime conversation. I recommend.

Hadn't been here for years. Friends made reservations and we met them there. Our server, Mauricio, pretended to be all about service (a little over-the-top) yet bottom line: fell very short. Out of the 4 of us, only one meal came out ready to eat. The lamb was rare although it was ordered medium. The filet was well-done although it... More

Three of us stopped in at La Loggia for dinner last night. For those who have never been there, let me explain. There are three parts to this establishment: A) the original La Loggia, B) the Patio, and C) Next Door, and all three are connected. First, we went to Next Door for some wine. We let the bartender (Jose)... More

Excellent service, warm interior and very good food. Go for the lunch special which has an excellent burrata salad and tasty steak Panini. Wonderful lunch. It can be expensive. Plan to go back for dinner next time in LA.

We have been to La Loggia multiple times. It is definitely our "go-to" restaurant for special events, for out-of-town guests and just a quiet dinner. The food is always top-notch and the service is fantastic. Mauricio and the staff of waiters always treat us very well and Frank, the owner, is the friendliest. That we can order tapas from "Next... I love the décor in this restaurant, and the food is good. The dining area needs better lighting, and the employees should be fluent in English so they can better understand patrons. Our server seemed to have trouble understanding our host, even though she speaks perfect English. My selection from the bar was much too strong!
