I lived in Playa del Rey for years and I would hit this place for dinner twice a week minimum. We went yesterday before we hit the airport and wow, great steak sandwich and fries. Mo, the owner, is always about saying hello to guests. Very good bar food

I was looking for a place to watch the game and found this place Mo's Place in Playa Vista, Coastal LA. The place was packed, but my bartender, and new friend Janada from Canada found me a spot at the bar. I fell instantly at home. The locals were incredible, and Janada was super cool. Did I mention the owner..... More

This looks like your classic dive bar except this place is rad. Friendly staff, good location, and the $3 beers at happy hour cannot be beat!

Mo actually runs the joint and he is a beauty of a owner. He works the room personally chatting with guest, tasting douses and adjusting the many many TVs to various sports offering. The food is basically a charcuterie A&R and grill, with great steaks at low prices. The Filet plate is very generous and about 25 bu. the salads... More

Mo's is a local dive bar. In fact in the dictionary under dive bar there must be a photo of this spot. I can't resist trying these places everywhere we go. The staff was friendly but slow - hey they want you to be sure to get through your first beer before you make any hasty decisions. The food was... More

Mo's is a fun place. It isn't fancy or particularly upscale, but with three pool tables and some pinball machines, it is a good place for friends to gather.

If you're looking for a sports bar with excellent food (both in quality and quantity, at a good price) go to Mo's. The service also good and if you want a game of pool while you spend time with your friends, it's the place to go.

We went with two other couples, so a total of 6 ppl, reservations were no problem. I think the valet is a little pointless since there parking lot is a tiny square of 20 spots. The husbands ordered byoburgers and there's a condiments bar for total customization. They all enjoyed there burgers. I had the pesto pasta which was excellent.... More
