Family style home cooking food.Good quality food served quickly. They have the ability to serve groups of 10 or groups of 100 with the same quality and good service.

My husband, and I hadn't been out for a while, and this used to be our favorite local restaurant. I wish it was as good as it once was.

We recently visited for a large family Holiday gathering. They are woefully UNDERSTAFFED so the wait for service and food is VERY LONG. Having said that, it is a unique Basque family style casual restaurant with some delicious food. You get course after course, salad, beans, bread, soup THEN YOUR MAIN ENTREE. A large carafe of House Wine is also... More

Great food, amazing variety and a neat atmosphere when all of the duck hunters are eating. Cafeteria style / family size servings. We only eat here when we are near Los Banos or make special trips

Great family restaurant. The style is VERY casual. They have long picnic tables and some smaller tables also for eating. Its like a picnic but indoors, they bring out huge bowls and plates of food and you help yourself. Be sure to bring you appetite!!

Great food, traditional basque style. Fun and delicious for a family dinner out! The soup and salad is the best in town. Very nice and attentive wait staff also.

New owners have made some changes...they finally accept credit cards, but the website still stinks. Generally, the food was the same as before...4 or 5 basic choices of entree, accompanied by bread, salad, soup, beans, potato salad, and lamb stew and a cup of ice cream for dessert. This is a large amount of food! The lamb stew recipe has... More

Very good place to go if you have a big appetite and you don't mind sitting near other people that are not in your dinner party. Set up almost like a school cafeteria with long tables, and food is served in courses. Starting off with salad, bread, along with many other dishes, and ending with the your choice of meat.... More

Decided to spend night in Santa Nella enroute from Los Angeles to Mendocino county. Having tasted Andersons Pea soup once, we decided to look for another adventure. Thank God for Internet.! We found the Woolgrower's Restaurant in Los Banos. The owner worked at the Badque hotel in San Francisco and started this 43 years ago. Los Banos is about 10... More
