This is classic great diner food. We found this place on our drive thru to Capitola. It's a great lunch. The breakfast looked amazing too. I highly recommend you sample a few of the baked goods.

This place is well known by locals so you can expect to wait in line during weekend brunch. If you go during weekdays and early enough you ll find a spot. The reason fr their success is that the food is very good and prices reasonable. Good service too and warm ambiance.
If you find better Hash Browns and overall breakfast, please tell me quick... because I have never found anything that beats the Los Gatos Cafe on Santa Cruz in LG.

We frequent this place and the food is always great! Breakfast is fantastic and inexpensive. FOr lunch I like their burgers and the 1/2 sandwich combo's that change daily. Friday's clam chowder is fablulous, but come early they can run out it's that good.
The draw back of this place is that it is often crowded and there is sometimes a wait to be seated. The other drawback is the small size relative to the amount of people in the room. Fancied a decent brunch and this place was recommended. Went mid-morning during the week so had no wait. Apparently it is super busy at weekends. Chose Chicken Apple Sausage California Benedict and it was excellent. Friend had "build your own scramble" which was great too. Will definitely visit again.
