The decor is out of Jules Verne. Nautical, photos everywhere. Servings are large to huge. Ask how many can be served. The hot fish sampler can feed four. Was great. Window booths have a great sea view.

This is a nice beach. There were surfers on the waves. I took some nice beach pictures. The pier is scenic. The food was good. We saw other tables getting huge platters heaping with food. Tasty. Not gourmet. Pricey, but you are also paying for the location. The sunset is around the point, so dont expect to see the sun... More

Take your appetite to the Beach Café because you are going to get lots of good food. We had brunch on a Monday, and the place was half full when we arrived and about 80 percent full toward the end of our meal. The three-egg seafood omelette I had was excellent. The cubed/sauteed potatoes which came with red and yellow... More

I live in Redondo Beach so I'm used to. Ring exposed to the sand and ocean, but man o man do I love the chance to go to Malibu and hang out. Paradise Cove is a special place and if you're lucky enough to get a seat on the beach it's the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Plus if... More

Great old school beach cafe. Friendly. Wonderful old black and white pictures on the wall. Plenty of good seafood but don't sell the ribs, steaks, or anything else short. Large portions. Fun place. Good cocktails. Huge slices of cake that 4 could easily share! Right on the water. Really reasonable. Would love to go again.

Beautiful location - you can eat with your feet in the sand or indoors. Giant calamari is served in a huge martini glass that could feed a family! Food is tasty, bloody marys are yummy, as are the other cocktails. A nice place to go eat and hang out for the day on the beach.

Food is good. But view and surrounding is amazing. Absolutely worth it to spend few hours in the beach after eating here.

Loved this place. Fresh food, dined next to the ocean and super friendly waiter. A little pricey but it's to be expected in Malibu. Definitely recommend.

We arrived after sunset and since this is on the beach, it's probably better during the day to appreciate the location. Casual spot. Basic menu. The bobo drinks are fun (tapioca bubbles). Indoor and outdoor seating.

I love paradise cove, especially the restaurant beside the beach. Seafood was so fresh and yummy, and more, the waiter was fantastic- he tendered a 5-star service. Thank you so much!

Staying in Malibu

Neighbourhood Profile
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
