About the best thing you can say about Cafecito Organico it's not Starbucks: it's a true, local coffee house.

This place had lovely strong coffee and the most killer cinnamon roll/muffin thing either my husband or I had found in about thirty years. We live in Australia and they had a thing called a flat white-- the type of coffee I always order back home. This one I believe had three or four shots of espresso in it with... More

Great little cafe at Point Dume Plaza. Wonderful service and delicious coffee. Lots of places to sit on the beautiful outdoor patio too.

This place USED to be fantastic. Good coffee and amazing pastries from a local baker. However, recently they have started getting the pastries from a different baker. The difference is unbearable. I could not even finish the croissant i ordered from this new baker. Bring back the old pastries!!

This is a lovely local coffee place in Malibu. They do great espresso's and flat whites. Plenty of (free) parking as well. Seems to be well visited by the locals here.

Stopped by on a coffee ride during a camping trip. Cafecito Organico is a nice little shop, the people behind the counter were nice and friendly, the coffee was very good (though not as great as Handlebar in Santa Barbara). We all had cold brews, and I really enjoyed that they had raw cane juice as sweetener. Menu is a... More

One of my favorite places to soak up the sun, sip on coffee and read a book. There is a bookshop along with the coffee shop, where you get good deals on books. The coffee is well made. And the patio sofas outside are all zen and peace. Last I had gone there, there was talk about it closing down.... More

Finally a local coffee shop that's trendy AND great. They try new, edgy drinks with the mainstays, and although it's not cheap, their good reputation is well deserved. Bonus? It shares a space with Bank of Books, a true neighborhood bookstore. And they have music nights as well as author signings/readings, so what's not to love?

This was a gem for travelling Aussies who like their coffee. Great coffee available in china cups with coffee art to boot. Great place to sit in the sunshine & watch the passing parade while enjoying a good coffee

Staying in Malibu

Neighbourhood Profile
Malibu
The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush, green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted with stunning rock formations. In certain areas, where the ocean waves are just right, surfers can be seen bobbing in the water. Up in the mountains to the east hikers take in truly stunning views of the ocean and the sprawling Los Angeles landscape. And along Pacific Coast Highway, restaurants are filled with visitors and locals from all walks of life. Stumble into the right place at the right time, and you’ll likely encounter a celebrity.
