Dukes was highly recommended by a coworker. The views are absolutely lovely. The restaurant is very busy so I encourage you to make reservations. Overall, the food and drinks were very good. Would definitely visit again.

This is a must stop when in Malibu. From burgers to fresh seafood we have never had a bad meal. Plus it is the only place to get Hulu Pie

The food was excellent, we enjoyed fish tacos...the view was incredible. You can imagine family from Indiana enjoying lunch in California with a total and beautiful ocean view. We can't wait to go back again!

The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some
areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush,
green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped
shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern
Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football
field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on
towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still
feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted

Ok for kids. Sat night two weeks out to get your preferred time. Request a window table. Not guaranteed and may have to wait. If want to see sunset, look up time of sunset and book 45 min earlier.
I want to ask about the Vegan options again because I wasn't clear enough! I've already looked at the menu quite a few times, and obviously as a Vegan myself, I found essentially nothing I can fully see as being Vegan if adjusting things about it. I mean I don't know if I count a $3 Taco Tuesday taco with a corn tortilla and cabbage and salsa inside as food, you know? If they let me add some rice and or guacamole, then we can start talking;-P haha. And don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting getting much out of this place for myself (and my twin sister who is also Vegan), and thought I would have to endure it for my Mom, which is okay if it makes her happy of course! So when I saw that it specifically states here that they have Vegan options, I thought I saw a ray of light! So, if any one actually knows a definitive answer that would be really great! My sister already called them yesterday trying to see what was available, but we will definitely let them know that we are Vegan and what that means when we arrive so that everything hopefully goes smoother. In the end if there is nothing else, we'll just get the $11.5 nachos and take off all the dairy, leaving it with black beans, Guacamole, Jalapeño and Salsa. It's not the worst thing in the world, and I guess not so bad considering I didn't see anything else that we could actually have, but my family usually likes to stuff our faces on eachothers birthdays, and I think that's a great and reasonable tradition! Maybe they will add extra of those toppings since so much is being left out? I think that's reasonable;-). Anyways, if anyone actually knows something from experience that proves why this site states Dukes Malibu has vegans options even though no where else does, which I can guess must have been a mistake, that would be awesome! -Thank you

It says that there are Vegan options, what are they? I am going tomorrow for my mom's birthday and it would be amazing if I could eat something. Someone please help me and let me know all the vegan options, if there actually are any:-)!

They have a veggie burger that I was told is vegan. The buns had milk, so I had it without, but the waiter said that sometimes they do have vegan buns. The waiter was helpful and went back and forth to the kitchen to ask... More

Duke's Malibu has brought the excitement of Hawaii, Waikiki, and surfing to the mainland. The spectacular oceanfront location on Pacific Coast Highway offers over 300 feet of romantic oceanfront dining and memorabilia from both Hawaii and California surfing history. The Barefoot Bar, looking south into the lights of Santa Monica, is a great spot for drinks and casual food with friends.
