It is my first trip to Los Angeles and my colleague live in Manhattan beach so he took us to Petros. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a good vibe. It was fully booked. We had some lovely bread and garlic dips when we arrived. We ordered some starters to share. I had meatballs and mash for main... More

Just enjoyed an amazing lamb pizza at Petros. Great mix of Greek and American food. I love lamb, so I had to try this lamb pizza. Truly delicious and had lot of tomato sauce and tomatoes that went very well with the lamb. Also had the Tzatziki with Pita and the homemade bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and... While in LA for business, our party of two was invited to Petro's which came highly recommended by our local associate. It turns out that Petro's is his favorite restaurant. He had extensive knowledge of the menu and the fact that two of the Red Varietals on the wine list were from the owner's vineyard. We opted for different wine... More

Inside and outside dining. Late lunch sharing plates. We shared the Carpuzzi (Watermelon) Salad with tomatoes, feta, mint and honey dressing. This salad is a must, especially on a warm day, the honey is amazing. We also shared the Octopus and Fried Calamari, both tender and delicious. They brought bread and some Skordialia dip. Save some bread to dip into other... More

To be fair I must say the waitresses were all super nice, friendly. The restaurant itself is very nice! BUT the food is well below average, not at all what you expect from a Greek restaurant. Mezes are tasteless, the flatbread gyros is a joke. And by the way 13 Dollars for 3cl of Ouzo...no comment.

Amazing location, delicious food. They even offered a vegan option, that was actually really good. Service was also very good. A lot of different menu options. Greek yogurt for dessert is to die for.

Ate here this evening with family and friends. I had their signature dish, the rack of lamb, which was very good. My wife tried the Moussaka which she reports as OK, just OK. It had a lot of mince and cheese but not much else. Not recommended! The others are the meat balls which were delicious . The price was... More

I was mortified when friends suggested Greek...but this was actually Greek with a little bit of californian influence I think, so , as well as traditional greek dishes, there were a few more 'plain' options, and the staff were more than happy to make any changes if asked. The staff were actually so friendly and so smiley i was dazzled... More

Wonderful, locally sourced food, expertly prepared and presented, with all the nuanced flavors and aromas you expect from a seaside taverna in the Cyclades.....

Four of us tried a variety of dishes, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. The food was not fresh, and definitely not Greek. I've lived in Athens and Thessaloniki, and visited many other regions in Greece. I've never seen, or tasted, food like this. The mousaka didn't appear to have any layers of eggplant or potato and was just a... More
