This place is really fun. They can be slow but the wait staff does their best to keep things moving, they are very friendly. The food is good basic, no frills Italian. It would not be in business in New Jersey, but for a spot at the beach, it make a fun evening. There can be a very long wait... More

Solid Italian spot with wonderful Garlic knots that are brought around every 5-10 minutes fresh. Main dining room is nice but we tend to hit the Rat Pack Lounge as it's more casual. Chicken Parm is hard to pass up but most of the menu is good. The marinara sauce is very good but needs to be served with the... More

This is one of the most favorite restaurants of my two daughters. We had dinner there few times. Their pasta and salmon is great. The lamb shank is also superb. But my most favorite is the unlimited garlic bread rolls that keeps on coming, even though I should not eat that many of them.

The Tuscan chicken pasta was very ordinary,a flattened chicken on top of some spaghetti and the lamb chop special for the night was very plain with dark gravy sauce on the side, disappointing! The best dish were the garlic bread balls...

FREE GARLIC KNOTS!!!!! SO GOOD!!I These were the highlight of the meal. But the food is pretty good too. I've had better Italian, but you'll still be happy and the portions are huge! Most of the pastas are reasonably priced between $13-20. Wait: I had a reservation on Halloween night, but didn't seem like I needed one. Caesar Salad for... More

The garlic doughball things came free with my take out, they were delicious but they are completely drenched in oil and I couldn't stomach more than three. The actual meal I ordered, the capellini roma, just didn't have much flavour unfortunately, it was kind of bland. Would still give it another go if I ever go back to Marina Del... More

We went to C & O Cucina after a long day of traveling and enjoyed it very much. The menu is very varied and the vegetarian in our party found lots of options. We got a big plate of pasta which was very delicious. They give free bread which was a great touch. We didn't like the ice tea we... More

This was the second time we visited this restaurant. Returned with friends this time. It was delicious...their shrimp pasta dish is amazing! The servers were so sweet and helpful. My phone battery was dead, so they plugged it up while we ate. The pictures they took of us were surprisingly good! Enjoyed our meal there. Marina deal Rey is a... More

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
