After a long stroll through Venice beach and the canals we stopped here for food and drinks. Great atmosphere on one of the (multiple) patios. Food was delicious and quick. The nachos they serve when you arrive we're warm and exactly what you want from a great Mexican restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch today. Didn't really know much about Mexican food so thought we'd give it a whirl. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh and delicious - staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was great. We sat in the terrace area which was lovely - it did help that the sun was shining after the... More

Restaurant did a wonderful job with 20 people in our group. The lobster and shrimp special was wonderful. Didn't leave super full which was okay. Staff did a real nice job staying on top of us and was quite pleased. We were all in the industry, so it is nice to see things work the way they are supposed to.

WE spent a day of our vacation riding bikes up and down the beach north and south of Santa Monica. Lunch time rolled around and this is where we ended up! Being from Tucson, AZ, I am very picky about my Mexican food and this place did not disappoint! They make their own tortillas and their own salsa, both of... More

Okay--I am from Texas but a restaurant with no queso dip??? No ground beef tacos only steak for the beef option. Fajitas had a ranchero sauce over them that tasted Like tomato paste. Good tortillas. The enchiladas s looked like the best thing on the menu. We used valet parking for $8 and that worked out okay. Cute decor. Service... More

We stopped here twice. Once for margaritas and appetizers over lunch. Another time for late night margaritas. Fun atmosphere upstairs. Order the mega margaritas if you are not driving. Good value and very tasty.

Service was so good, food was even better! Had the Chile Verde Burrito........... DEFINITELY one of the BEST burritos I've had! Will definitely be coming back here for another one! Was there at later at night so I can't say too much for the ambiance.

Thank Ken T

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
