We stopped by Tony's Seafood on our drive to Nick's Cove. We ordered some BBQ Oysters, Clam Chowder, and Fish Tacos. The restaurant is cute and has a great view. The food was delicious. The chowder was creamy and flavorful. The Fish Tacos were fresh and the BBQ Oysters were delicious! The service was warm and friendly and I would... More

Whilst taking the scenic route from SF to Bodega Bay, we called off at Tony's for some lunch. The place is right on the Bay so you overlook some beautiful scenery whilst chewing down on some of the best seafood I've had. I had Fish Tacos ($15) and my wife had Crab Cakes ($19) - both amazing, fresh and incredibly... More

Dine inside or out in the casual waterfront stop along Tamales Bay. Bring cash (or use their ATM). Tip: There's a Wells Fargo ATM in Point Reyes Station about 15 minutes away. I'd avoid the salads and burgers and stick with what they're really known for - the oysters and local crab (when in season, starting late November usually). The... More

We had passed several oyster farms but found out we needed to have our own supplies so we settled on Tony's as a full service restaurant. We ordered bbq oysters, calamari and scallops. The oysters had a tomato/garlic sauce which disguised the flavor of the oysters. The calamari and scallops were sauteed in butter, wine and garlic and were quite... More

I thought any oysters in this area would be great but it is not. This restaurant is $$$$$ for the food they provide and totally not as expected. Fried oyster and raw oyster(so small) and the clam chowder is the worst i ever tried. Overall bad experience and required to pay cash!

Visited Tony's restaurant a Sunday in July on a one day trip up along highway 1 from San Francisco. Had grilled oysters with garlic tomato and white wine sauce. It was simply delicious. Got a glas of Napa Chardonnay white wine. Excellent service and fantastic view of the bay. Possible to sit either in door or outside. Tony's is third... More

Tony's is only open weekends. The fresh crab arrives Friday morning. We arrived for an early lunch last Friday and arrived watching the fresh crab being taken out of the packing crates to be steamed outside the restaurant. Of course we enjoyed fresh crab sandwiches for lunch.

Small, local restaurant and retail fish store on the beautiful Tomales' Bay north of San Francisco. This is the Marin County area made famous by Hitchcock's "The Birds". On top of the water. Glass of local beer, ($5.00), white wine, ($7.00) filled to the top. !/2 dozen BBQ Oysters ($14.00) very tasty. No frills, food served on paper plates, friendly... More

We stopped by this place because we were craving for raw oysters. Staff is friendly, place is clean with a nice view. We had raw oysters, barbecued oysters. Really good

We drove from Muir Park where we walked the old redwoods and then went to Tony's and it was established in 1948 which is old in restaurant terms. The drive up there was lovely and we weren't disappointed at Tony's. It was near evening and we decided to have appetisers there and our main meal back at where we were... More
