Always consistent, flavorful food - light and fresh which I like and varies usually quite often. Sandwiches are always good and dinner specials (grilled squid was a standout)

If you have never been, a few tips: 1. You order the food at the counter and they bring it to you. 2. Half of the seating is outside so if it's not nice out, seating will be more difficult. I saw quite a few people who grabbed a table before ordering. 3. Portions are a little small so order... More

Cafe Borrone is one of those places where you feel like being in Europe. Plenty of people just sitting outside enjoying a beautiful sunny Sunday with coffee and great food. A little bit overpriced but you have to blame the area and not this joint for that. Great coffee as well would help if there was more personnel to accommodate... More

Grab a seat outside by the fountain, bring along Rover & change your mindset to Italian cafe on a plaza. Great breakfast options, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc., all very nice!

Cafe Borrone is a Menlo Park landmark. Fast talking 20-something entrepreneurs rehearse their venture capital pitches over a single cup of coffee which gives them table ownership rights for at least 4-hours. Retired 40-something entrepreneurs plant themselves at their own tables to spend hours reading the Wall Street Journal. Meanwhile casually (but expensively dressed) young moms enjoy a break while... Came here on a weekend before going to the airport. I had pancakes and coffee and both were very good. I came around 7AM and the place was half full and by 8AM, most of the seats were taken. Very popular place. There is parking at the basement of the building that made the place more convenient. Overall, worth the... More

obviously a local favorite from seeing the line ... line moves quickly and worth the wait ... breakfast was very good and simple coffee, eggs and pancakes ... came back the next day for lunch and too many good choices - tried the vegetarian sandwich and another good choice ... also take some cookies to-go ... can confirm earlier reviews... Very good food, ambience. A bit on the pricey side but food is always good. Nice, local neighborhood hang-out for breakfast, lunch and light dinners.
