Several visits, always the same service level. The food is acceptable, which means at this price level, it is good, just not memorable or great. The washing machine art is interesting, overall an acceptable place for dinner with friends. Inside seating is small, as is the bar.

On the upper end of what you'd expect from a "family style Italian restaurant". Menu offerings are diverse, and all the dishes we sampled (pizza, Salmon, Angel hair pasta) were good. The place was very crowded (on a friday night) and they ran out of the local favorites (Cannelloni, Meatball spaghetti, and lasagna) before we had a chance to order... More

My family (two teenage girls) all agree that this is the best Italian food on the mid-peninsula. The interior design must have been one of Pat Kuleto's first jobs and you can tell that not much has changed. It feels like walking back into the 1990's but get past it because the food is outstanding. Everything we try is great.... More

We have recently visited Carpaccio's in Menlo Park a couple times while attending Stanford football games. The food is universally good. Many of the pastas are house made. The menu is extensive and varied and offers many dietary choices. Service is excellent. Staff is gracious and accommodating. Reservations are a good idea as the place can be very busy.

Food is overrated. Kitchen doors are left open during business hours... this should tell you something very popular, very noisy, very overrated

When we want an elegant, delicious dinner, we head to Carpaccio's. Their Italian food is amazing. We like the picatta (veal or sole). Their Parmesan salad is unforgettable. Their Caesar salad is some of the best ever. This is a restaurant for an elegant evening for lingering. Reservations are suggested as it's very popular. If you want a quiet table,... More

Carpaccio has had the same owners for over 2 decades and I would say has the same clientele for just as long. Basic family style Italian food nothing fancy. The make their popular lasagne only twice a week on Wednesday and Friday. For lunch we had Angel Hair Pasta with tomato sauce. A decent sized portion served not as al... More

I ate at the bar two nights in a row. First I had a smoked salmon and caviar pizza with a glass of a superb Carneros Pinot Noir. I went back when I saw how they served martinis. The martini was excellent (with The Botanist gin). I ate the pappardella pasta with duck. Also great as was the Caesar salad.... More
