We enjoyed Dim Sum as a group of six for lunch. My wife is Chinese, we lived in Hong Kong for three years and frequent NYC Chinatown for Dim Sum fairly regularly. We were very pleased with the dishes. We found the dim sum pieces to be quite a bit larger than we are accustomed to. The Har Gau, for... More

Six of us were here for dim sum yesterday. Surprisingly they accepted reservations when we called in days earlier but only at its opening time at 10 a.m. When we arrived before 10, there was already a slew of people waiting for tables. When we identified ourselves as having a reservation, we were give a number and were called into... More

Hong Kong Flower Lounge could have been much better, but I got the feeling that they just don't care that much. The positives are the charming interior decor and the good food. The negatives, unfortunately, outweighed the positives for us. 1. Odd lot with limited parking below the restaurant. 2. Staff that is dispassionate about their jobs. Example: When we... More

Probably not a good solo choice. The two dim sum I chose were very good but I would have liked a little more variety.

I visited there with our colleagues. Generally speaking, Chinese cuisine is good to enjoy variety of dishes together bigger party. We have 7 people in our party at that time. I believe that quality of each dishes is one of the best in Bay area. Especially, Peking duck was excellent! Besides, as you know, we normally enjoy thin sliced duck... More

This is a truly authentic Chinese restaurant, specializing in Dim Sum. The portions are substantial, wait service very friendly and accommodating. A definite popular destination of the Asian community. Each portion was well flavored and seafood is one of their specialty's. There are fish tanks as you walk in that have live lobster, shrimp, ocean trout, and king crab.Dim Sum... More

Sat/Sun Closest to the real thing I've see outside of China. Evidenced by the fact that the four of us were the only Caucasians in the entire, large, and full dining room (reservations a must). Only drawback is parking, which is very limited. Valet parking available across the street.

My brother, sister and I love dim sum, but don't get a lot of chances to get together to have dim sum. When I used to live on the peninsula, we went here a lot for their Peking duck. This visit we had some. The duck skin was wonderfully crispy. Duck is rich, so I can't eat a lot of... More

Our business group was seated in a private room with tables for 8. Service was family style with many courses placed on a lazy Susan. The Peking duck was excellent as was the roast pork and a clam appetizer served with lettuce in a huge clam shell. Not quite up to Koi Palace but very good.

We really enjoy the Dim Sum here. Fresh and flavorful. Many choices are available. We generally stick to our favirites--and all are good--Har Gow, Shu Mai, Roasted Duck, Eggplant, Chicken Feet, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Chinese Broccoli, and Crispy Shrimp. Teas are very good. We usually order the Po Nay (Or Po Lay)Tea--which has Chrysanthemum Flowers. Prices are on par... More
