Been here with my friends who are usual to this place. Had parathas, peppery chicken and then the end was superb.. fried banana with ice cream. A must try for all those who are reading this review. Loved the food. I would definitely visit again.

These are made fresh and lite and thin, the sauce is just amazing. If you go for dinner, go early or you will have to wait. Nice outdoor area with heaters, they also have some bar seating, indoor seating is nice with tablecloths, a little upscale. Service was pretty good.

We were recommended by our supplier to eat at Banana Leaf in Milpitas, California. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai, medium spicy. The Chicken Pad Thai was very saucy almost like a spaghetti red sauce. It wasn't like any Chicken Pad Thai I have ever had, and that's in a bad way. It was almost an Italian style... More

Food was good, but way too spicy for me. Lots of selections on the menu and staff was very friendly.

Great food and fast service. Unfortunately always very busy so do reserve. A staple when visiting San Jose.

This place is normally packed, so I tend to either come here before 11:30am or after 2pm. The chicken rice here is above-average but they charge you 50 cents for the "boneless" version. The poh piah here is average at best.

This restaurant is so busy it is worrh the wait. It isn't common that the quality of the catered dishes taste the same as dine in experience but this restaurant is very SPECIAL. They are excellent all around it is a must if you are in town!

We went with a large group and did tapas style ordering, so we tried probably 15 different dishes - I was amazed that I liked every single one of them! I still have dreams about the Roti Prata, highly recommend that!

A colleague suggested Banana Leaf on our last evening of our business trip and while I was skeptical, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. At first, the menu was a little overwhelming as I was not sure what all the dishes were. But we had a very patient and wonderful waitress who helped each one of... More
