Not a fancy restaurant by any description but a good example of Greek food done well. We recommend trying the taramasalata (dip made from salmon roe) as it is not found commonly in the US.

Four of us enjoyed a nice evening. We wanted to share around and the waiter totally rolled with it. He helped with suggestions and helped us put together a great meal. Good food and nice atmosphere.

I had lunch here and had the lamb souvlaki. It was delicious and came with salad, rice pilaf and bean salad. It was filling, delicious and fairly priced. I will be back and recommend it to anyone who enjoys Greek Food.

Enjoyed really great food and service... But, the NOISE kills it. Tried to have an interview/meeting over lunch, and we had to constantly lean across the table to hear one another. Very difficult to hold a conversation. The room has echoes and one loud table kills it for the whole restaurant.

I had lunch at Epsilon yesterday and found the atmosphere pleasant to enjoy my Lamb Shanks with Baklava desert. The lamb came with the plate full of a variety of salads and rice. Sitting at a window seat watching the world go by, I enjoyed my meal accompanied by attentive service. Although Baklava might be considered a cliché, served warm... More

We found this restaurant which a little off the main shopping area in Monterey when we were searching for a vegetarian friendly restaurant. Both the vegetarian and fish dishes served were excellent. They compare to some of the best Greek food I have eaten both in Greece and the UK.

We arrived late in Monterey and were having trouble finding a restaurant that was open and had vegetarian food. We only hit upon Epsilon by accident but really enjoyed the meal. The waitress was really helpful and friendly, the variety was good and was all round very enjoyable.

I love this place. I am stuck on their Greek 1/2 salad with grilled dark chicken meat. It is so delicious and only $10. It has cucumbers, feta, olives, lettuce, the Greek bread whose name I can't recall. The service is great. I often have business lunches there. I would suggest getting a table by the window as that offers... More

After traipsing around Monterey looking for a restaurant that was vegetarian friendly, we gave the places on Fisherman's Wharf a wide berth and steered a course towards a quieter part of town to the Epsilon. What a find; great service and delicious, Greek food too. The main courses with the fresh salad and bread and a garlic dip were more... More

Epsilon is owned and operated by a Greek family and has been serving the Monterey Peninsula for 25 years in the same location. The homestyle cooking is the closest you will come to actually eating in Greece. The Decour and the ambience is unbelievable. My staff is properly trained and outstanding at providing the best customer service. And finish your evening with the Best homemade baklava I have ever tastedand.so please come join my family and let us provide you the best meal and service while you're visiting here in Monterey.
