We enjoyed a late dinner here on a Saturday night. The space is comfortable and inviting. Our dinner was good - typical bar/tavern food - and service was attentive and helpful. A good spot for a casual and affordable meal.

This was an excellent place to eat. Food was delicious and service was great. Was walking distance from our B&B. Menu was unique and somewhat different from other restaurants. Nothing bad to be said about this restaurant. Would eat there again if we ever get...More

It was on a Monday evening and most of our go to places were closed. So I has heard good things about Norman Rose. Maybe they were short staffed, or the regular chef was off that night, but it was not a good experience. Our...More

It is very unfortunate that such a disrespectful person is part of their management staff. I simply alerted our sever that I believed our order was wrong and the manager, John condescendingly told me that I was mistaken. He said, "I was standing right there...More

Walking the streets of Napa and just turned to one of the locals and asked where he would go for lunch. He walked us over to the Norman Rose Tavern. Nice lunch. Try the Spinach and Goat Cheese with Toasted Bread. Fantastic. Had some Gourmet...More

Was told by a local that the lamb burgers were great, not sure if their idea of great would coincide with mine. Maybe you get to expect something exceptional when someone gives high praise to a particular dish. Was somewhat disappointed as the home made...More

Cost of the food was very expensive; not worth the price. The drinks were not good at all. A long island ice tea should never taste like alcohol and all you could taste was the tequila. My husband and I were there for our 1...More

Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose Tavern is that comfortable spot where you can meet family and friends for a nice cocktail, pint or glass of wine paired with a great burger and fries or other classic, American comfort food. The menu takes a local, sustainable approach to time-honored dishes like fish & chips, fried chicken, chop salad, mac and cheese, and much more, all prepared utilizing the fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients found in the North Bay. The design offers a rustic pub feel with modern touches created by Kimberly Nunn and Dan Worden of Shopworks in Napa. The thoughtful beverage list sports a collection of cocktails, wines and beers that soar two or three levels above most, with many outstanding and well priced Napa Valley wines. The by-the-glass list is impressive as well with over twenty wines by the glass. An extensive spirits list featuring classic cocktails round out the offerings.
