We live just around the corner and have given this place several chances. The good is ok but the service is always terrible. Do not go here if you have less than two hours to waist.

Sabatino's has been a Newport Staple for years and I have visited for dinners as well as brunches.. This time I was here with a group of 10 folks celebrating a birthday. One always gets a warm reception and I have never had a bad meal . Sabatinos is known for its sausage. On this evening I had the eggplant... More

Old-school Italian with a fresh California atmosphere. Everybody comes here for the sausage and pasta. Lots of other dishes to choose from. The place is always crowded so have a reservation or come early. This place is not cheap but it's a must visit tourist restaurants when you come to Newport

surrouded by all the fancy newport beach restaurants this simple family restaurant always comes through. Great pasta, service, and wine list

We were warmly welcomed by the Italian owner. This looked to be the start of a culinary experience. Not at all. The linguini alle vongole was average, as was my pasta aglio e olio. No taste. Service was ordinary. Poor experience.

Excellent service Fantastic dinner. They did a great job with pretty large group of about 40 people. Had the Halibut special of the evening. Delicious.

Can't miss at anytime for a great meal here. I have a hard time ordering anything other than the Sausage sandwich at lunch. Awesome sandwich that come with a cup of homemade cream soup (ours was cauliflower) and a side of cold pasta salad. So good and enough to fill any appetite.

Great place for large parties. Delicious Italian, authentic food. Large portions that are easily shareable. Outside seating and they had a very good singer performing/guitarist performing.

If you grew up on the east coast and love Italian food this place will hit the spot. Be sure to make reservations especially to eat outside. Great appetizers complimentary wedding soup. Good service but slow on a busy Saturday night. Fresh pasta and red peppers great chicken Marsala and piccata. Celebrated a birthday with excellent Tiramisu

This place used to be good, but new management has made it terrible. Rude staff and very dirty restaurant. There are a lot better choices in Newport for Italian food like Mama D's.
