The locals really know of this place! Great coffee and baked goods. Try this before going to the major chains.

I treat myself each weekend to a cup of coffee from Dr. Insomniac's. I love the Scuffins (you know a cross between a scone and a muffin). The coffee selection is superb and whether you like the foo-foo coffees or a nice of strong dark brew you can get this here. Also the breakfast burritos are tasty....always hard for me... More

This place has become my wife's standard place to stray from her diet. Great croissants, muffins etc. Quirky decor and tee shirts are cool

I loved this funky one-of-a kind coffee shop ! Filled with plenty of nooks and crannies which allow some privacy for business meetings .I can see why it's consistently rated "Best in Marin." Extensive menu, and a product they call 'Scuffins" - mix of muffin and scone...

I love to meet my sister here and talk. The outdoor seating surrounds the coffee shop and the tables are spread far enough apart that you don't hear the neighbor's conversation (unless you're actually listening! haha) They have several great-tasting coffees, quick service and some great breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos! I highly recommend this spot for a quick cup... More

I love this place!! Even bought the t-shirt!! 😀 Great assortment of coffee drinks and delicious baked goods! I ALWAYS buy a scuffin (scone/muffin hybrid) -- soft like a muffin, not overly sweet, like a scone. Perfect!! Rustic, Old Town Novato building. Hippie feel, but clean and classy. Definitely recommend!!

Stopped here on a drive back to San Francisco. It's a little place inside a bigger shopping center. And the coffee was fresh and good. I would recommend.

Excellent shakes, sandwiches, coffee. Not very spacey however slightly larger tables if there are more than two people may be helpful. However I certainly recommend going.

Best coffee, teas and pastries. So much better than the large coffee stores. Great place to sit, relax and enjoy the great drinks.
