Don't let Moonrakers' location next to a Best Western hotel deter you. It's a spacious resturaunt tiered on different levels, everyone sees the massive windows to the ocean. We got got up close and it's the widest ocean view we've seen anywhere. The waves here in Pacifica are massive, not too far from Maverick's just south a few miles. Oh... More

Comments about the cost always surprise me because you see the price in the menu. The setting was beautiful, the service attentive and friendly, the food delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurants because it is right on the beach and the food is very good. The menu is varied so there is something for everyone's palate. You get an oceanside view at every seating. The bar and lounge is very nice as well. It is a bit pricey but what you get is well worth... More

I had a cocktail, glass of wine, salad and an entree and it cost $70 (before tip). I got filet of sole, so nothing overboard. Nice view, but the too pricey for the quality of food.

Wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh crab, clams, shrimp and your choice of fresh fruit, a vat of dark chocolate for your fruit, great prime rib, a plethora of desserts. Awesome!

Could have been what I ordered, but my meal seemed over price for the small amount of food I ordered. As with many more sophisticated places, the food was elegantly arranged and pleasing to the eye. However, the taste was bland. My scallops were not well-seasoned, did not go well over sweet potatoes, and the portion was small for the... More

Steamers and oysters with a great view. I've been here in the past and love the location. The giant glass windows make it seam as if the waves will come crashing in.

Two birthday-celebrating days spent in Pacifica and two meals enjoyed at the Moonraker. Looking for a quick and light lunch, we popped into the Moonraker because we had heard that their clam chowder was the best. And by golly, we totally agree!!! We added a shared salad and a bowl of lobster bisque to the table and left with the... More

Our meal was absolutely worth the ticket. I had Dungeness crab (snow crab doesn't compare anymore to me!) and my husband had a scrumptious Pork meal. Desert was delicious...some sort of a mousse pie, chocolatey, bit of yummy ice cream, wow. A must go to restaurant for dinner. Service was professional while personable. 10 plus star experience!

Thank Tamara A
