Mastro's is a wonderful addition to the Palm Desert food landscape. During the summer months they have a 3-course prix fixe menu that is full of choices, but don't miss out on the petit filet, it is perfection. The ambience is dark and romantic. They have live music in the bar that permeates every corner of the restaurant. The service... More

My husband and I recently visited Mastro's for the first time. We have been to all the other top steakhouses such as Ruth's Chris and Flemming's but Mastro's is a level above! It has the feel of an old time establishment with that dark and intimate vibe. The steak was simply amazing-better than any we have had. We were celebrating... More

This is a place that you don't want to not enjoy the food. It is all excellent and the sides are served family style. If you are a fish lover and price is not holding you back have the seafood tower. It is excellent!!!!

Let me start with the quick basics. Eat here. The food is great. But don't eat in the DR off the bar, it's like sitting in the sad, runt banquet room banished from the real action, with poor lighting and sad decor that feels like an after thought...the DR where they put the tourists, and the people who didn't have... This is the third Mastro's we have eaten at-always consistently excellent food and service. Our party of four decided to try the "summer menu"-fixed price menu with choice of starter (crab cake, French onion soup, iceberg wedge), entrée (filet, ribeye, pork chop, salmon), and desert (profiteroles, butter cake, cheesecake). You also get your choice of several sides. Very good value-food... More

I have only been twice for luncheon and was served rubbery steaks both times with mediocre side dishes. I was hosed each time for rather large gatherings so the host's economies may have been a consideration, but the food was still not terribly good. I perusded the menus, however, and the prices seemed on the high side

If you haven't eaten a Mastros steak, you have not eaten the best there is!! Perfectly seasoned, and elegantly served. The bar scene is a must for every young at heart person out there. The dining room for everyone who just wants to enjoy a wonderful experience of the finest dining I think there is.

Yup, had to get a bone in ribeye for my bday and it was cooked to perfection with a hot and pink center. We have never gone wrong or had an awful experience at any Mastro's we have dined at. Great Martinis and desserts. Service is always fantastic. Aside from the weather being 112f outside the interior was boisterous and... More

I'm in the service industry, and I was wowed. It takes a lot to say that. I know how hard it is to get it right. From the back of the house to the front. Food was cooked just as asked. The service was excellent for me to pay $60.00 for a steak. Let me just say that Brendon, Brett,... More

This was my first visit to Mastro's and it was exactly as I expected it would be. A friend took me here for my birthday. I'm a pretty humble guy and every single person on the staff treated me like royalty. I can't say enough about the service. Brett and Brandon really know their menu and can answer any question...
