We had a wonderful dinner here on our first evening in Palm Springs. Cocktails...stellar! We shared three small plates - winter greens, shaved Brussels sprouts and cauliflower gratin - each perfectly prepared with exquisite ingredients. I had the burger and my partner had the hangar...More

Found this place as we were walking by. We sat outside, small courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The prices were a bit on the high side, but that’s Palm Springs

Overall, I think the reviews of Workshop are pretty accurate. Nice food, spotty service, fully priced to clearly over-priced. We were five and had patio reservations (my daughter did not know what this meant really, and it was December 24th!). The restaurant has heaters, but...More

World class restaurant including food, ambience and impeccable service. If you visit Palm Springs, this restaurant is a must. Flavourful and fashionable, I have experienced dinner in a booth, at the communal table and in the courtyard, all great. I don’t write many reviews but...More

We were looking forward to eating here, based on some other reviews. While the ambience was wonderful, and it was fun to eat in a very architecturally interesting space, the food and drinks were very overpriced ($7 for some bread and butter). I had the...More

If you visit Workshop you must have a reservation or you are not getting in. We made reservations and had to sit at a communal table, at first it wasn't bad until a couple came with their kids! Which I wouldn't exactly take children to...More

Trendy place for the rich who want to be seen in this restaurant. Had the octopus carpaccio and lamb sausage pizza. Two cocktails and charged for a beer we didn't order. Extremely dark, loud and ambiance indoors stale. One of those farm to table places...More

Four of us came for dinner and drinks. Our table wasn’t ready so we started at the bar with the Pisco Punch, served in a punch bowl which was fun. It was delicious and potent - be warned! We were then seated in the courtyard...More

The casual, trendy ambience and excellent service enhanced our small family gathering. The menu included several tempting starters and entrees. We opted to share several starters and a few entrees among our party of six. The soup, fries in duck fat and duck with fried...More

We had a wonderful dinner at Workshop Kitchen & Bar and will definitely be back! First, the setting: we sat outside in the beautiful inner courtyard of the historic building where the restaurant is located. We had our two dogs, and there was plenty of...More

Description
Dedicated to food, drink, design, and community. Workshop Kitchen + Bar is Palm Spring's newest gem in the heart of the Uptown Design District. Located in the Class 1 Historic El Paseo building from 1926, Workshop’s Industrial chic interior gives the historic space a contemporary edge befitting the locale. Our kitchen is based around seasonal products from local farms, so the menu changes often. Although "Americana" may best describe the style of our food, influences are many. Favorite techniques in the kitchen include our wood-fired pizza oven, wood-fired grill, and custom sous-vide station. The bar looks mostly to American classics and carefully homemade basics. Original cocktails vary with the market's availability and our bartender's mood. * Please note: Booth seating is limited and is reserved for parties of 3 - 6. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but make no guarantees. For special requests, please call us at (760) 459-3451. *
