Almost a joke this mismanaged old tired place needs new management and help. The so called maitre-d couldn't smile if his life depended on it.

From the moment we pulled into the quiet drive and handed our keys to the valet we just knew we were in for some old school awesomeness. The second we walked in I expected to see the entire cast of "Swingers". We hung out at the...More

As you walk in Melvyn’s you can just image the Rat Pack playing an impromptu set or sitting at the bar conversing with the ladies. Michael is awesome and usually on the piano. This trip I had a great time talking with the bartender Michael...More

They don't make restaurants like Melvyn's anymore. This is such an old school place and it's an experience that everyone should have in Palm Springs. My husband and I were grinning ear to ear the whole time.

Sunday afternoon and early evening is packed with customers enjoying mid-century music with several skilled seasoned singers. A dance floor near the stage rocks. We followed this with a Sinatra era style dining experience. The staff were usually attentive but bar service was a bit...More

Four of us had a wonderful dinning experience. Melvyn’s is a classic old restaurant where the Hollywood elite used to dine.

Melvyn’s is reasonably priced on cocktails. It’s a high end place but doesn’t gouge you. And their service is aces!
