Friendly service for decades! Serving up Palm Springs history with the best sushi and Japanese specialties in town. Don't pass on the grapefruit special or the gyozas. Pricey but worth it! Nowhere else compares to the quality.

We drove by here many times and finally pop in for dinner. This place has been family owned for over 36 years. The food was pricy but everything was well prepared and very good. We enjoyed a few new items and the menu tells you that they adhere to the Japanese traditional food combinations and that "sushi is sushi and... More

Super friendly atmosphere. Excellent sushi and hot food. Yakatori, pot stickers, Sea urchin sushi & yellow tail and scallop sushi. Top notch. We loved it and will definitely come back!

As a big fan of Japanese food, having traveled extensively in Japan and eaten many Japanese meals in Los Angeles, I was eager to try out this restaurant. We immediately noticed that the food and drinks were overpriced, compared to LA, but thought that perhaps they served generous portions. Wrong! Though the sushi quality was reasonable, the portions were small... More

Ignore the frequent complaints about price: Kiyosaku is worth the splurge. This isn't just the best sushi we've had in the Coachella Valley -- it's as good as or better than anything we've sampled in Los Angeles or New York. This is traditional sushi, so don't expect any trendy rolls. What you can expect is some unbelievably fresh-tasting and succulent... More

This is the best sushi in the desert. Chef has a few 'secret' recipes not on the menu that are wonderful...my husband loves the chicken dumbrani (spelling). The grapefruit plate is unusual and good. I love the fresh, good sized sushi....no wonder they have so many awards on the wall. You hanker for sushi in Palm Springs...this is the place... More

This is a faded jaded place with a grumpy old chef on view. The food was ok but priced as if it were fantastic in somewhere much more glamorous. The wife of grumpy old chef suggested adding $4 to put avocado in a salmon roll which indicated the customer fleecing rather customer pleasing mindset.

Best Sushi restaurant in Palm Springs for sure! Although it is pricey - the quality of fish, quantity of portions and presentation is worth every penny. We have had sushi all over the world - Japan included and Kiyosaku stands with the best. There is a wonderfully warm welcoming feeling in the place as well! Thanks for a wonderful dinner... More
