The service was so good. I didn't catch her name but our waitress travels back on forth to Cape Cod on occasion. She was SUPER personable and efficient, warm and friendly. The food was a teensy bit high-priced (like by a buck or two.. no biggie) but was really good. We had breakfast (they serve from, I believe 7am to... More

We have been patronizing BOC on our desert visits over 20 years. When eating outside we have seen trucks with local business names stop to eat. Good sized tasty meals served by cheerful people. Great for us.

Since I'm a local I obviously have seen this place for years. Stopped in for a cobb salad to go. Yikes. It wasn't good at all. Plus they added PICKLES to the salad. ... PICKLES!? To make up for the lack of other (Cobb salad) ingredients? Then to find out the salad costs $12+?! Never again. Now I have heard... More

Unassuming restaurant with very relaxed atmosphere serving typical diner fare. Very good breakfast choices although I chose fish and chips. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

When you're feeling less than A1,after too many glasses of Betty IPA the night before, no need to reach for the aspirin just head to Bit of Country. A hearty, tasty breakfast served by the friendly staff here will put you on the road to recovery. Old school charm in an increasingly 21st century Palm Springs. By the way, you... More

A friend in Oregon recommended this restaurant as a place for breakfast where the locals go. My wife and I went there this morning and were pleasantly surprised, starting with Elaine our people person cheerful waitress. We both started with coffee, and were served a pitcher of coffee, unusual in this day and age. We both ordered the two eggs... More

We found this little gem on TripAdvisor's list for breakfast in Palm Springs. They have ample seating inside and out. It appeared to be a family-owned and run cafe. It wasn't anything fancy. What it was, though, was exactly what we love. Seasoned waitresses, polite bus boys, and a comfortable/casual environment. The food was cooked to order. The service was... More

If you are looking for the latest trendy breakfast items, this is not your place. If you are looking for a good solid breakfast at a reasonable cost, Bit of Country works well. Nice little patio in front with nice view of the mountain as well.

I had just moved to the area and a local recommended this place because it was dog friendly . Service was ok but what made it a non memorable experience was the food greasy greasy greasy from the omelette to the potatoe hash browns . The coffee was aweful how they are able to stay afloat in this day and... More
