I love this little place. The food is consistently good and a great value. The staff is super friendly and attentive and make you feel welcome. It's one of my go to places in Palm Springs. Their Belgian waffle is amazingly delicious. Eggs are fluffy and tasty. And when you really want a treat their biscuit and gravy. YUMMMM.

We had breakfast here because it looked local -- and maybe it is. But it was not good and it was very expensive -- close to $30 for two. They also have too many rules: $2 for plate sharing, extra $.75 for this or that. We were very disapointed.

Elaine is a long time staple there. A very witty fun waitress we adore her. Now on to the food: it's our favorite breakfast spot. Huge omelette, pork chops and eggs delish. They even have grits! My husband loves their fried chicken he almost always orders it. Sometimes with a waffle! Typical diner atmosphere but you will be to busy... More

Bit of Country was suggested by a local and I can see why!! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Its location is awesome, too. The service was top-notch.

We were very happy to find this place on New Year's Day - everywhere else had a long line. I don't know why - this was very good!!! Maybe a little of the beaten path? Anyway - I had the spinach and feta omelette and it was great - hash browns very good also. My husband had eggs, hash browns... More

I have been visiting BOC for several years as a seasonal resident. I have found the breakfast and lunch menus offer something for everyone. The lunch specials are an exceptional value and great home style meals.

The service was so good. I didn't catch her name but our waitress travels back on forth to Cape Cod on occasion. She was SUPER personable and efficient, warm and friendly. The food was a teensy bit high-priced (like by a buck or two.. no biggie) but was really good. We had breakfast (they serve from, I believe 7am to... More

We have been patronizing BOC on our desert visits over 20 years. When eating outside we have seen trucks with local business names stop to eat. Good sized tasty meals served by cheerful people. Great for us.

Since I'm a local I obviously have seen this place for years. Stopped in for a cobb salad to go. Yikes. It wasn't good at all. Plus they added PICKLES to the salad. ... PICKLES!? To make up for the lack of other (Cobb salad) ingredients? Then to find out the salad costs $12+?! Never again. Now I have heard... More

Unassuming restaurant with very relaxed atmosphere serving typical diner fare. Very good breakfast choices although I chose fish and chips. Food was very good and reasonably priced.
