We just happened to stop in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy but very good food. The fried rice is probably some of the best I've had. We had talked about trying to make it back for a second time while we were in town but time didn't permit it. The prices are very good for the quality... More

We've been to this restaurant a few times over the years, and have always had good service, great food, and enjoyed the atmosphere. Either we are used to frequenting places that truly have HUGE portions, or there might be an exaggeration here that the portions are large. They really aren't that big, and the amount of rice they serve with... More

Met some friends for HH tonight at Wang's in the Desert. This is the second time I have been there (both times in the winter and both times sitting on the heated patio). Tonight was interesting. Here's why. 1. When we arrived there were only a few people sitting in at the bar and a 4-top on the patio with... More

I hadn't been here in a few years and the difference was noticeable. Their food -American Chinese - was as good as I remember. They said they couldn't seat us although the restaurant was only two thirds full. So we sat at the bar and the bartender told us he was having to do double duty because they only had... More

While I have always loved the food here, most things on the menu have seen a doubling of the price, the food was still good tonight but the service was beyond horrible, after mentioning it to the maître d', we got some additional attention, but it didn't make up for the rest of the meal, I want to go back,... In looking for a Place to take George's dad and his gf, we asked friends in Palm Springs for a recommendation. We ended up here. We called ahead to help make the evening go smoothly (Diet Coke for pops when we sit down) The waiter, Travis, was great with dad. The food was great. You must have the shrimp with... More

We ate here recently with friends. It was our first time but the friends we went with eat here often. The service was ok but each person in our large party ordered their a separate dish and there were 12 of us. When the food arrived they put the dishes randomly around the table (not with the people who ordered... More

I have eaten at Wangs multipole times but it is mainly because there are little Asian/ Chinese options in PS and that it is a festive atmosphere. Plus, I like the clientele which makes it fun with friends. Prices are pretty good too. It has a typical Chinese menu with some other Asian dishes as well. All served family style.... More

Wang's can sometimes be too noisy for me, but on my recent visit it was not crowded and proved to be a very nice dinner experience. Four of us shared dishes, each one of which was delicious. Service was fine and prices were reasonable. I look forward to returning.

This restaurant has outstanding food and exceptional service. Best hot & sour soup I've ever had! Highly recommend the Walnut Shrimp and the General Wang's Chicken - both house specialties. Portions are large, so sharing is suggested by the staff. Great value too!
