We (group of 4) needed an early bite to eat as we had concert tickets at nearby Bing Hall. Why I liked it: wonderful small plates menu, inventive cocktails, pleasant and efficient waiter, and a lovely open air feeling to the dining room. Points off for the small plate of fresh guacamole that includes moist/soft "new world" chips. Chips need... More

Great service and nice surprise to be able to take our four legged family member to dinner with the rest of the family. The patio area outside accommodated dogs; however, there is a huge restaurant inside also for those without pets. The tapas were a nice touch for those who wanted to try many things on their menu. Lots of... More

Enjoyed a nice, fresh dinner. A good selection of tapas to choose from. The heirloom tomato salad was divine. The pear cocktail was delicious. The seats are too close together and wished we were seated outside

My favourite place in downtown Palo Alto. Very fresh, imaginative, delicious, and filling tapas offerings. I've dined here with dates on romantic evenings, as well as with teen children for lunch. The lounge area is great for friends or business associates having a drink or a light snack. On Friday or Saturday evenings I like to dine on the patio... More

The dishes prepared at JOYA never disappoint, great bar and fun energy. Seats up front are noisy ask to be seated in back if you want to have a conversation

Found this not-so-little restaurant as we cruised the streets of Palo Alto and was not disappoints. The food was top notch, their menu very creative. Tha sidewalk tables added a bit of ambience to our afternoon meal.

We had dinner for 8 in their semi private room. Food was excellent and you can't beat the restaurant ambience.

Good food. Everyone's nice. Oh, I need more characters. Uh, the floor was clean. You can see through all the windows. There's a bathroom. And a roof.

The restaurant is on a corner of down town Palo Alto not far from the Stanford campus and has a very nice ambiance. The decor is modern and the windows on the side are covered with draperies, while the front of the restaurant can be opened up to merge the inside seating with the outside seating. We went for dinner,... More
