It may be sacrilege to say so here, but I was referred to Oren's by the Yelp app, since I was staying at a hotel just a few blocks away. The reviews were glowing, as they are on this site, so I had to give it a try. But like Seinfeld's annoying comedian acquaintance Kenny Bania--who insisted that soup wasn't... More

Crowded and loud would normally keep us from choosing a restaurant for lunch but the recommendation said this was the best middle Eastern food ever. In fact, it completely lived up to the reputation. The pita bread is amazing and the hummus is delicious. We'd planned to save the leftovers but there was little to save. Definitely a must-go-to restaurant!

Stopped in for lunch after reading reviews on another site and wow, what a treat. Had Turkish coffee that was the best I have ever had. We shared hummus with fava beans and two sides of tabouli and falafel. Housemade hummus and pita bread and sides. So tasty, such huge portions and great service. We have never had such tasty... I was attending a conference a couple blocks away and decided to try Oren's. Their Gluten Free and Vegan menu is quite extensive. I tried the chicken skewers, hummus, and Turmeric rice. The chickens were so moist and flavorful and the hummus was great. They have a good system for filling to go orders. I was there 3 minutes after... More

Very good quality food at a good value. A better value than all the other restaurants in the downtown area. They even use organic eggs. Chicken skewers are delicious, and the hummus platters are huge. I love having Oren's in the neighborhood.

Their hummus and fresh pita are some of the best in the area. Their babagonoush and harissa sauce are pretty authentic!

Great value for money place with great service. Great hummus, pita and falafel. We tried one of their rice dishes, and it was great too.

Oren's makes great hummus, pita and felafel. Two people can easily split a classic hummus. It's tasty, quick and healthy. We'd definitely go back.

Like the title said, you won't run into an issue when you take your friends and you be like "It wasn't like this last time I visited." Rest assured that it will taste deliciously same every time you'll visit.

I'd hate this place to get any busier than it already is. In terms of options for reasonably priced, authentic, non-pretentious food in Palo Alto... You're pretty much limited to Oren's Hummus. Does Oren's have faults? Sure it does. Namely, it's always packed during dinner time, but I've never had to wait too long. Tables are jammed together. I think... More
