Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The review is for two desserts, one is a chocolate mousse and another one is a raspberry crème brulee. Not sure why it’s called crème brulee now, it should be and it used to be a raspberry mousse. Both desserts are good if not for...the decorations that ruins the whole experience. The white chocolate decoration on top literally tastes like soap. The dark chocolate taste cheap, 90% soy and 10% palm oil, horrible taste of cheap chocolate. If they can’t afford good chocolate, skip it altogether, because the dessert itself is good. The price is almost $10 each. I can only recommend it if you skip all the chocolate parts, decorations on the top and bottom dark chocolate around the dessert. It’s too expensive, for the price I’d expect a perfect dessert.More

This reminded my family of stopping for lunch when in French. They have the same thin Baguette sandwiches. They had tables outside in the mall area. Perfect for a sunny day relaxing. $15 for a small baguette sandwich was a little much though. Although I...don't know if it was good enough for a regular stop it was definitely worth a little nostalgia.More

Great pastry, reasonably priced, under construction but very very tasty. Highly recommend ordering in advance so you can just pick up as there is a line up sometimes

La Baguette in Stanford Shopping Center is truly a enduring eatery and rightfully so! Every visit to Stanford requires a visit to procure some of their FABULOUS edibles. One to eat directly and...several more to take out for later. Normally crowded, but due to “shelter...in place”...now it’s a different story. This French Bakery delights with FRESH baked Breads, Pastries, Cakes, Parisians (Sandwiches), Quiche, Salads and Soups and Coffee. The establishment always smells wonderful and causes the requisite “Pavlovian” response. The artfully prepared edibles, displayed within the cases will do the rest and VOILA...before you know it, you’ll be hearing the phrase “Will that be all?” Yup...it’s just that EASY! Our visit on this occasion concluded with ordering two Salami Parisians (Delicious) and a Walnut Raspberry Cookie (FABULOUS)to share with Coffee. Located in the center of the Shopping Center, the Bakery is fairly easy to find, and once you have ordered there is plenty of seating outside the establishment for you to enjoy your food. If you haven’t been...you should take the time to visit and enjoy. On this occasion, one of many...in this Reviewer’s opinion La Baguette has truly earned this “highly recommend” 5 Point review!More

Just finished wasting $35 on pathetic excuses for snacks. Everything has been sitting in the fridge for at least 48 hours that all you can taste is fridge stench. Macaroons and pastries are doughy and dense and horrendous tasting instead of being fluffy and light....Too bad a 0 star rating isn’t available.More

I have been going to this bakery since it was established. The pastries and cakes are made to perfection. The products are fresh and delicious. The breads are so good. The almond and spinach croissant are yummy.

Salami and cheese heated on fresh baguette hit the spot for lunch at this high end mall. Goat cheese salad also a winner. Nice seating area just in front of the store.

This place is ok for a quick cup of coffee and pastry, as long as the line isn't too long. It's a little on the pricey side, to be expected at Stanford shopping mall. There are tables outside provided by the mall if you want...to sit and relax.. There are several other coffee shops throughout the mall if you don't want to wait too long. Enjoy!More

We had a bread and butter pudding which was quite different from the traditional pudding. It was like a slice of cake with glazed fresh fruit on top. So tasty. And the margarita sandwich was phenomenally amazing. The flavours were just perfect. Mozzarella tomato basil...and some sort of tangy sauce. The coffees are average but food and dessert wise very goodMore

Small bakery with premade sandwiches. I don't like the lines every time we go there and the service leaves a lot to be desired.

I had missed lunch and wanted a quick snack before a dinner event. So, stopped in to grab something to eat before driving home. I wanted quiche; however, it was sold out. Instead I tried the turkey and Swiss sandwich. Who doesn't love French bread?...It didn't disappoint. As mentioned, though, the line can be long and a little slow. Next time I'll also try a pastry.More
