A nice italian restaurant sit in Palo Alto downtown which is likely the busiest dinning location for dinner these days. So first of all, I'll go over the good things. The food is good. I'd definitely recommend the antipasti specially for group dining. It's a tapas-like set of dishes that can be shared and makes an excellent appetiser. As per... More

We were in Palo Alto visiting Stanford with our daughter. We were delighted to find this tiny Italian restaurant. We loved the antipasti small plates, the homemade ravioli with pesto, and the wine selection was amazing! We finished with delicious homemade desserts. Loved it! Mossimo (the owner) was very helpful and attentive. Nick (our waiter) was fantastic!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Palo Alto to take visiting colleagues. The food is genuine regional Italian (I believe mostly northern, but with some mix), prepared with care. I generally order the burrata appetizer. Everything I've had there has ranged from satisfying to delightful, including the primarily-Italian wines (I enjoy wine but am not an expert; I am... More

I had a dinner here with two colleagues on a Friday night. We came in due to reviews that assured diners that this was not the usual Americanized Italian. My colleague who has a Sicilian mother-in-law confirmed this assessment. We started with the burrata which was super creamy and fresh. Two of us had the lobster ravioli and was obviously... More

Vero is a little slice of Italian heaven in Palo Alto. It is not flashy, but rather creates such delicious well prepared food with proper ingredients. We had the lobster ravioli and special risotto, whichever were divine as well as the apple tart. The wine list highlights the best of Italy at a reasonable price. The service is friendly, engaged... We chose this restaurant purely on the menus and we weren't disappointed. Great service and excellent value for money. The food was freshly cooked and we had super hot main dishes of very well cooked salmon which was succulent. Service was efficient and friendly.

We happened by this restaurant because Osteria was closed for vacation. Unfortunately for them this may be my new favorite restaurant to go to for lunch. The restaurant is smaller but very nice. The waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent. All pastas were freshly made. We had a sampling of the ravioli's, lasagne and Tagliatelle Al Sugo.... More

Not the best italian food, but decent. Small restaurant, a bit too noisy for my taste. Food was good, not sure I'll go back.
