Yep. Rice, re-fried beans, salsa, chips, and enchiladas. Pork, Chicken Carne asada; with red or green sauce. Not much more than that. Beer and wine license, but no real Margaritas. Cheap and OK lunch.

Three of us had dinner here pre-movie. It is right accross from Whole Foods in Palo Alto and could be pricy. But the meal was not pricy, was quick and the beer cold and good. Service helpful but not pushy. The food is average at best, but that was fine for what we wanted.

This is close to where I live so I do go several times a year. That being said, I grew up in Texas with the best of the best Mexican food. This place could use a cook to upgrade the quality. They serve most traditional dishes yet something is missing. It's not terrible, the food just needs to be tweaked... More

Whenever I am in town I make it a habit to go to La Morentia, a traditional mexican restaurant. This place always looks after you and the food is relatively cheap and very fresh and nice. It hasn't changed for all the years I have been going here and it is one place I always come back to. Thanks again... More

I stopped in here on my own. Pretty busy place very old school decor. I had the shrimp tacos. They were very tasty but the refried beans and rice were both cold. Was a very quick dinner. Good for a fill. Tasty food, complimentary nachos etc just nothing special.

This Mexican restaurant was recommended by local white collar workers. The enchiladas were good, the rice and beans average. The service was above par.

My shrimp enchiladas were delicious. The carnitas tacos my sweetie had were also wonderful. This is a small place, but very inviting.

Living right across from the restaurants perhaps makes me a little bias, but I've known the owner Miguel and his family for close to 25 years now. This is a Mom and Pop restaurant – his family works here in both front and back of house and they love their business and the community. The Mexican food is traditional and... More

What a great find! Adorable atmosphere, great location, super friendly service, and most importantly: stupendous guacamole! The California tacos are skippable, although they're one of the only vegetarian things on the menu. This made our choices pretty limited (Palo Alto Sol has more options in that regard). BUT we're actually pescatarian, so we also ordered the fish tacos, which were... More
