We were passing through Paso Robles and were eager for a good breakfast spot. This small house converted to a restaurant was welcoming and offers seating at a counter or stateside. The menu is basic diner fare but very good and huge portions. The Ranchero sauce was amazing.

We were so pleasantly surprised by the outstanding food and service at this cute little restaurant in Paso Robles. It is out of the way and probably a locals spot! Joe's Place was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was the best I've ever had! My husband had bacon and eggs,... More

Great for a "real" breakfast! You may have to wait a few minutes at busy times but it is worth it. They provide prompt, friendly service with large portions of good, hearty food at a reasonable price. You coffee cup is never emply. And the cinamon rolls, oh boy, so good.

We had had recommendations on this Paso Robles institution from several people. When we found out that our hotel was about 1 block away, we had to try them for breakfast. It was a very good, traditional american breakfast. My wife (the coffee drinker) liked the coffee. The service was good. The decor is fun. Definitely check out the appropriate... More

Quantity vs quality is an issue with my husband and I, and we get these recommendations from hotels that rave about a restaurants food only to find out that it's popular because of meal size, which to some people equals value. Not so for us. I don't need a ton of food. I just want it to taste good. Megasizing... More

We were told to go to Joe's from some locals and we were so happy we did. They said on Sunday make sure you go before the locals get out of church since it gets packed. We only had a 10 minute wait at 9:00am. We had the Choriso and eggs and there was so much we could have shared.... More

Off the beaten track. Great food, capable service and a nice place to start the day. Will certainly go back if I am in the area again.

Joes doesn't disappoint, they have a well oiled machine going there...it's packed and a wait but not long wait as they have the tables served and cleared promptly. Service is personable and good, food is outstanding. This is a must if in town. Homemade biscuits and gravy and the fantastic cinnamon roll, which will feed four. Everyone is very friendly... More
