This place is really cute but a little hard to find. It’s tucked away behind some other businesses but I am glad I found it. There are tables outside on the patio right near a running stream. It was so beautiful to sit and watch...More

We love this place. It's run by a family originally from Louisiana that love preparing their family recipes for you. My personal favorite is the Gumbo!

Quaint restaurant located in downtown Placerville, by the hardware store, down the alley. Good food, menu varies, kind of a Louisiana based menu with red beans & rice, jambalaya, etc.

Food was O.K. but how the owners of this fake have the courage to call the food Cajun is a mystery to me. There is nothing Cajun here that can't be bought in a bottle at Raley's. Jambalaya Pasta--please? No gumbo, no etouffee, no crawfish,...More

Thank you for your review. Since we are a small restaurant, with a small kitchen, we can not offer everything Cajun on the same night. If you want to try our Gumbo, Etouffee, Crawfish or Fried Green Tomatoes, then you'll need to come in when...More

Description
Small, intimate restaurant located down the walk-way in Creekside Place. Placerville creek runs right under the restaurant. You can dine creekside on our deck. Owner, Sonya, is from Louisiana. She has brought her family recipes to the table for you to enjoy. All food is bought fresh, never frozen, made to order, made from scratch from the time you place your order. Please allow us 25-30 min to prepare your meal. We feature local wines from Amador and El Dorado counties. We sell 2 beers on tap from California's smallest brewery, Placerville Beerworks. We have live acoustic music on Fridays at 7:30pm
