Just one visit makes me wonder how Tony's rates so high in Redondo Beach. With little effort--based on our server--you might be able to go start to finish here in 25 minutes. Our waiter pressed us to order immediately. We ordered cocktails and asked for time. Cocktails were just ok but the moment they arrived, the waiter pressed for our... More

Been eating here since I was a baby. Love this place. Yes it's old, dusty and expensive. To a stranger it might appear to be an overpriced tourist trap. I have a lifetime of great memories and meals there. Not quite the same now since the original owner passed away. Still, if you'd like to take a step back in... More

I am born and raised in Redondo Beach and Old Tony's on the Pier never gets too old for me. It's in walking distance from my house. Service and food is consistent. The décor is the 1960s at it's best. The upstairs bar is a must for sunset, sometimes there is live music. What more can I say, I love... More

Went to the upstairs bar. Enjoyed apps, mixed drinks and live music. We had a vegetarian, which prevented full exploration of the menu. Only comment on food was that the mozzarella is not in stick form as you would expect. This requiring a more hands on and napkin intensive experience, than you might expect. While we were there in December,... More

Stopped in for weekday lunch. We were skeptical as the outside and interior decor is quite dated ... but ... we were in for a surprise! Excellent, flavorful meal and lovely wait staff. Calamari was perfectly cooked, fish and chips were plentiful and crunchy. The salads were gigantic and loaded with toppings. We had the shrimp salad and the cobb... More

I went to Redondo beach prior to Thanksgiving and my friend and I went to Tony's on the Pier one night for food and drinks. It is a great place for late night hang out, located right on the deck.

Popped in on a whim, had a quick bowl of clam chowder and a shrimp cocktail. No draft beer. Steaks looked reasonable on the menu.

Tony's is an institution in Redondo Beach Food is okay, but service and atmosphere are fantastic Fun to go upstairs round for a cocktail and then to dinner next to roaring surf

The upper part is the bar with a 360 degree windowed wall for great view wherever you sit. Fish is superb - has been a great place for many, many years.

Tony's is one of our favorite dining spots in the USA...we go to Tony's whenever we are in Los Angeles. The window seating is a must, although they also have a table with a firepit in the center, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they make you feel welcomed. On one of the previous... More
