The Service: Wait time... SUPER LONG!! Because it is a super tiny restaurant and the food is really good. They don't take reservation so get there during off peak hours. There are only 2 staffs on duty, one at the cashier and one server. So... be prepared to take a while to get service. :( Love their deco in the... More

Nice place to hang around with friend til midnight. The food is good, just make sure expected to wait 10-15 for indoor seats, or else just sit outside.

So this place announced them an authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and used a lot of big-name food for Taiwanese. The problem is, they are nowhere like its original counterpart. For instance, the Wan-luan pig feet used its name, but is not at all like the real WanLuan pig feet. Railroad lunchbox is also a big name, but the flavor is nowhere... More

This is an eatery serving Taiwanese cuisine. The food is not bad though a little too salty for my liking. Portions are big.

Pros: The Mango/Strawbery and Green Tea Shaved snow are dessert heaven. They are the perfect treat on a hot day. Cons: Long wait times and sub par service.

10 years ago while I was studying in Irvine, I heard of it already. And finally get to try after then. The foods are so "local-Taiwanese" and brings people right back to their childhood.

Located off Nogales, in the 99 Ranch supermarket plaza, is this tiny Taiwanese cuisine restaurant. A lot of my friends have been to the Irvine location and say it's a self serve Boba place. Well, this location is no such place. The restaurant is small, housing maybe a dozen tables. Hopefully you're not a tall person, as these tables are... More

The food here is pretty good - lots to choose from, all very authentic Taiwanese. The stinky tofu is a must. So is the railroad lunch box. The shaved ice (green tea, red bean and mochi flavor) was really tasty too. The service was a bit disappointing. It really wasn't busy when we were there, so we thought it was... More
