Relatively inexpensive authenic Cantonese dishes that I consider as comfort food. Nothing fancy but taste good. Informal atmosphere for families.

Good food at this restaurant however the service is so so. It's a convenient place for lunch if you're visiting the zoo.

Accomodating to families with young ones. We see tons and we got our 18mths old with us as well! Excellent food, best tried than just reading on someone else's review. Great balance on seasoning and each plate does taste different--I've been in a chinese restaurant where all dishes tasted the same..BUT not here :) Beef dry Chow Fun, Baked Pork... More

We don’t have a chance to eat here often, but the food is always excellent. Often the restaurant is crowded, but we came in for a late lunch when things had settled down. They have a wide-ranging menu. The three of us ordered less-adventurous items: pork & eggplant, fish & tofu, oyster egg pancake–all three delicious. Highly recommended.

Last night was the first time for us to dine here after our friends who had lived here mentioned that it was always busy with Asians. We had placed a reservation the day before to be assured of a seating arrangement and was assigned a nice flapped up round table for 4 persons. The interior was simple but appeared to... More

While the environment is simple, and a little dated; the Macau Cafe delivers where it matters most, delicious food. It is always busy, with most patrons being Chinese. We love the War Wonton soup, and the chive dumplings; but have never ordered a poor entree.

A sign of a good Asian Restaurant is the clientele.... If you see a bunch of Asians in an Asian Restaurant, that is a GOOD SIGN that the food is decent and the price is right! Macau, has that sort of atmosphere; many local Asian patrons frequent this establishment for decent faire in a clean setting. Macau, as the name... More

If you like to try a variety of Chinese dishes this is the place to go. It leaves something to be desired for the service but the food makes up for that. We like the walnut shrimp dish. There is something for everyone here that loves Chinese food.

This place has good lunch specials and authentic Chinese food. The place is packed and my only gripe was that the service was a bit slow. The beef mushroom dish I ordered was fresh and very good. Came with 3 huge potstickers.

A simple place near Land Park. Does a lot of take away business with locals. Had the won ton mein (HK style) and wor won ton mein. Servings are huge and good quality. Also has some interesting Macanese dishes like curry chicken. All good. Seating is diner style, close quarters. But it all works.
