We ate lunch here between winery visits. We chose outside seating on a gorgeous November day. Our server was perky and efficient and she made some good recommendations. The ladies had the chili and both loved it. My friend devoured the lamb sliders and I loved the sausage sandwich. We took a break from wine but their list was really... More
We were here with a group of 12 and our table worked out very well, however it was not very crowded that night. The service was family style and worked out well although I always worry about that format.
Just superb. My gnocchi was perfect, just melted in my mouth. Often in other restaurants it's been kneaded too much and chewy. This wasn't and the ragu was just outstanding.
This was my second time to Farmstead and a first visit for my three girlfriends. Everything is SO fresh, the service friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is just so great. The interior decor is just so interesting and fun. Sort of a blend of farm and country with a blend of pottery barn or restoration hardware. I had the... More
We had our normal meal here recently. The caramelized beets weren't as good as we have had in the past, though certainly enjoyable. The trout was smothered in mushrooms, making it difficult to enjoy the fish. We are not crazy about ordering pork, but it was good and cooked perfectly. The melon sorbet was surprisingly delicious, as was the crisp.... More
Since we didn't make any reservations, we were seated at the bar. The interior of the restaurant did exude a certain bucolic farm like Midwest charm. Ordered several dishes for lunch. Lamb sliders were delicious but the rest of the meal was a disappointment. The baby back ribs were bordering on being beef jerky tough and dry. Despite being three... More
Thank you for providing us with feedback on your recent visit, William. We’re glad you enjoyed our LMR grass-fed lamb sliders and the atmosphere of our restaurant, but are disappointed to hear we did not meet your expectations overall. We strive to consistently provide warm and friendly service to our guests regardless of the section in which they’re seated. Did... More
You can take the girls out of Texas but you can't take the Texas out of the girls. Went to the Farmstead for dinner with 8 other ladies for a bachelorette party. We were sat at our reservation time and the service was excellent. We started with the charcuterie and cheese trays as well as the cheddar biscuits. The potato... More
Booked in UK as was recommended highly as we were based in Napa it involved a 30 minute drive. The table was not ready on arrival so we waited at bar where we ordered a beer & a margarita which was excellent, several couples arrived & were escorted to their tables so we reminded staff that we were waiting &... Thank you for taking time to provide us with your feedback, Nicola. We’re happy that you enjoyed our margarita and the flavors of the dishes you tried, but disappointed that the overall experience did not exceed your expectations. We are sorry to hear that your visit did not reach the high standard for customer service that we hold ourselves to.... More
With a group of 12 friends on a wine tasting trip, we knew we needed to make a stop at Farmstead. There were no regrets.
