Love this place! It's small, but clean and quaint, and the food is fantastic! And, they have a wonderful pastry bar. The staff is friendly, too! Great deals offered on Restaurants.com!

My husband and I visited SJ last week and wanted something different that didn’t break the bank. Tupaz was in a strip mall, the interior was more like a cafeteria, they took our order in front and brought the food to our table. We sat in the back patio, which was next to the dumpster, not what we imagined a... More

This place is off the beaten track but is really good. I have never made it for breakfast but when I get there, the pastry shelfves are almost bare. The food is really well prepared and really very good, they do more meals that are less common. I had a really good hamburger with small fried onions, it looked really... More

I love eating here! This is my go to spot for a family dinner or even a intimate celebration/ party. The food menu changes frequently and I love that about them. The food is almost always amazing. I love to eat in the out door courtyard. Like everyone they have bad days but in the years I have been this... More

They DO NOT have "Eastern European" food!!!! If you are coming here for that, FORGET it!! They have French, Italian, German fusions. While the food is not bad, it certainly is not anything to go out of your way for. ...and to make matters a bit more annoying...the menu changes frequently at their whim. Its a bit pricey. Expect 14... More

There have been times when we had Eastern European dishes on our menu. We have recently had more caterings in the past 6 months since the winter holidays from Russian customers. This is a first for us for having a complaint about being listed as Eastern European. One of our regulars back in August 20, 2009 put a review in... More

Wonderful place for an afternoon, or early evening, date with significant other or friends. Excellent wine list, fabulous, ever changing menu with creative bistro style flair. Relaxing garden seating is pleasant day or evening. To be clear, you order at the front desk, choose your table and then your drinks and food are delivered to you, always with a complimentary... I have been here three times and it was an incredible surprise. It is not the type of location or the part of town that to find a restaurant of this type. More the type of place you would expect on trip to the wine country. Very interesting menu and everything I have tried has been outstanding.

We dined here recently for dinner on a Tuesday when they serve a complimentary glass of wine. I had a Chicken Paremesan sandwich, which was good. The chicken pieces were square and looked like fish to me, but it was chicken. It was cooked with Parmesan on the outside, so also had a very pale color. We also shared a... More

This is not a fancy place, but it's small and rustic and can be best described as a quaint neighborhood spot. The food is all fresh ingredients and the people are kind. The menu is small, but always delicious. It's rarely noisy, so the hubby and I love to walk over there on date night. In the summer you can... More
