For 12 days now we have tried expensive, cheap and alternative. This place trumps all with best food, great service fab vibe. What a secret perfect place I don't want others to spoil by flocking too. In short....try here but don't tell anyone...ssshhh!!!

This was a good spot for a nice breakfast before hitting the road. Food was very good and service was spotless. Certainly recommended.

This restaurant was the best part of the Lemon Tree Hotel. The breakfast was really good, the bar was small but nice, and they have outdoor tables, so you can enjoy the weather. I recommend it.

We ate here as we checked in late after a long day. The food was good as was the service. However, the background music was terrible, and when we asked for it to be changed (we were the only ones in there), we were told they are not allowed too! Lots of people have said the same apparently, but the... More

The title says it all. The menu is extensive and there is something for most everyone. Hotel dining is often a mixed bag, and the experience at Crocodile was better than expected. I suspect that it isn't most people's first choice in Santa Barbara, but my dinner was well done and very pleased with price.

We arrived late at the Lemon Tree Inn and had no mood to find food in downtown so we went to the restaurant at the Inn, the Crocodile. Everything was a nice surprise: the service, the music (real jazz standards), the home-made tagliatelli (try the chicken marsala, it's delicious!) and the dessert (not too sweet, what a relief to find... Had a delicious breakfast in this nice restaurant. Not cheap but great food and presentation! It is located at the Lemon Tree Inn right off the lobby.

Incredible, friendly service and just a fantastic offering of SoCal cuisine. On the patio, you enjoy a lush, tropical setting. Inside, the restaurant/bar has a very hip feel in this mid-century modern renovation. Well done on all accounts!

Crocodile has a varied but somewhat limited menu but the food is well prepared and beautifully served. I particularly enjoy the grilled salmon over grilled vegetables, and the lemon chicken salad is outstanding. I like the fact that Crocodile is easy to find but off the beaten State Street path. Prices are reasonable, too, considering the quality of the food... More

We got into Santa Barbara late and as we were staying at the Lemon Tree decided to eat at the Crocodile. We were expecting ok food but nothing too spectacular, however both the fish tacos & lasagna both were brilliant and full of flavour!
