Nectar is a cool place with great food, music and beautiful ambiance. Sit upstairs in the lunge area by the fireplace or downstairs at the beautifully lit bar.

Great romantic restaurant with it's own vibe. The booths upstairs offer privacy for couples. The downstairs bar is a great locals spot. All menu items we've tried have been great!

Didn't know what to expect--but locals said this was a fun place for "flights of tequila"--so it intrigued the husband. Loved the atmosphere--dark & kinda funky...Madison, our server, was quite friendly and knowledgeable about the tequilas & the wide variety of foods on the menu. She was definitely a treat! Husband enjoyed his flight experience & I adored my tequila... More

Despite the outside appearance, we went in at 6 into a nearly empty space that looks like a funky house. Our charming waitress recommended an outstanding pinot noir (Point Conception) by the the glass. We then ordered off the $5 bar menu and thoroughly enjoyed our casual meal. The cozy leather banquette was perfect for relaxed dining. The only negative... More

Went in for drinks and found they had an incredible bar menu. Watched a new bartender practice his trade and got some very good, honest drinks. Then noticed off duty staff were coming in for take-out and the plate presentations were great. Ordered salad, soup, and Pizza Agave. All were fantastic. Staff were really on the ball and the owner... More

Last night my wife and I went to Blue Agave to dine. It was the last part of Happy Hour so I was able to order the fish tacos-two for only $5.00. It was a super bargain as trey were just first class in every way. After this I had their salmon dinner and my wife had the steak with... More

My husband and I stopped here on the recommendation of a waiter at a local restaurant after having dinner there. We were looking for a great dessert on our last night in town and his restaurant didn't serve desserts. We were so glad he directed us to Blue Agave! We sat upstairs in a room with a cozy fireplace and... More

Blue Agave has been a local's favorite for many years, but recently had gotten a little long in the tooth. We heard recently that it had a new owner and decided to give it a try. The restaurant offered all the good food and drink that we remember, but the place had a fresher feel. The staff was incredibly welcoming... More

We visited on a recommendation from a waitress at another restaurant (true!) and were not disappointed. She said that it would suit our family (a couple with teenagers of 15 and 18) and it absolutely did. The dinner menu (served 5.30 -11.00) is wide ranging and is apparently described by the owner and chef as ‘Continental Drift’, which means that... More

You walk into what seems a house, that has a bar, and is also a restaurant. Low lighting sets you ready for dinner and we worried we were the only "older" ones, but that was only because at 7pm people haven't arrived yet. As in Latin America, when we left at 8;30 -9:00 it started getting packed, all ages; some... More
