Busy happening place with great food. Choice of chowder (New England or Manhattan) both good. The fish is fresh and lava cake desert is the best. Although reservations aren't necessary I would highly recommend.

It's located in an odd spot; we drove by it a couple of times before we figured it out. The restaurant is a very loud place that forces you shout through the meal. Service was poor; our waitress was neither charming nor attentive. The salmon and veggies were tired and not particularly good. In all, the worst meal in I... More

We were wonderfully surprised when we wandered into the Enterprise Fish Co...a great menu, but the lobster bisque (including the puff pastry) and the Dover sole were exceptional! The staff were friendly and efficient and the room is fun... buts it was the food that set it apart.

This is the place to come for Happy Hour eats and drinks. The food is terrific and very well priced, portions were large, seating in the bar and restaurant was ample and comfortable. The staff was very responsive, the open area kitchen grills were fun to view, the decor was historical and interesting.

I ordered fish tacos...one of my favorites...what a mistake! These tacos had absolutely no flavor. I had ordered a side of guacamole and unfortunately the waiter brought me some that apparently had been sitting out for awhile as it was brown on top. The tacos were so flavorless and I didn't want to eat them plain so I requested some... More

Great atmosphere and great food. We had the Dijon Salmon and the grilled sword fish. Watch out for their tasty martinis as they do not hold back with alcohol! We had a great time and enjoyed the molten chocolate cake which was not too rich.

We stopped in for a snack while cruising the funk zone. We ordered a bowl of NE clam chowder and steamed clams and mussels. The chowder was very good and the mussels were some of the best I've ever had. The service was very good as well.

Read a few negatives on this testsurant, not our experience at all. We had a glass of one of the pinot noirs by the glass, Babcock. So good made me want to visit the vineyard ( but today we were doing tasting rooms in downtown Santa Barbara). First the truffle fries, yummy. They had. "Bar menu" and undecided, we ordered... More

We went three couples on Saturday night for dinner. The table for our reservation was ready when we arrived. The service was excellent and quite attentive. The fish was fabulous, especially the ahi tuna and the shrimp. Large portions well presented. The lobster bisque is truly awesome. One huge problem, the restaurant is so loud you literally have to scream... More

Another girls weekend was had in California, with only one night in Santa Barbara - Enterprise Fish Co. was worth the stop! We had great suggestions from our server and he was very attentive with our table, wine and food. We ordered the tuna ceviche and calamari to start, both fantastic. Then we each ordered a main, this was not... More

Just a few blocks from the waterfront, our restaurant in Santa Barbara operates in a century-old brick building originally home to an industrial linen service for seaside hotels. While the Douglas fir floors, soaring ceilings, and glassed cupola have always been features of this historic structure, the sweeping arches facing State Street were added after much of the building crumbled during the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake. Built in 1917, the historic building now home to our Santa Monica restaurant was once a transfer station for the narrow-gauge Red Car line, Los Angeles' first mass transit system. It was later the repair house for the world-famous Pacific Ocean Park, home to the oldest wooden roller coaster west of the Mississippi. These days, we're still a stone's throw from Venice Beach, heart of where L.A. goes to play -- and eat.
