Well I was looking forward to some good'ol fish'n'chips, but the portion size for the price was a little chincy. The service was poor, a lot of younger staff members that appeared to have an inner-work dynamic of relationships and flirtations going on and little interest in customers. I stepped on multiple pieces of food on the floor and it... More

For seafood, it came down to Enterprise Fish Co and the Santa Barbara Shellfish Co, so we decided to give Enterprise a try. Location is convenient as it's on State adjacent to the 101 Fwy, but it's a little tricky getting to the parking lot, where you get 90 minutes free. You can always just park at a nearby street... First time dining and was very happy! Our server was so attentive to our party of 8. Food was absolutely delicious! Made for a great evening! We will absolutely be back again. The graduate was super happy with his lobster! He ate every last bite! Everyone else was so happy with their selections. Fresh seafood...and my husband who doesn't like... More

We were treated so well. Mom is 92 and it is difficult for her to walk any distance, but we were blessed by getting the handicap parking space closest to the door. We went at 2 pm on a Tuesday, hoping for no crowds, and we were not disappointed. Servers were attentive. Goid was delicious. Coffee and tea were refilled... More

Just a visitor in the area. Meant to hit up a nearby establishment with better reviews, but there was a crowd lined up around the building. So, we chose EFC. For whatever reason the girlfriend wanted a spicy margarita. Ugh, wow that burned. haha We snacked on the poke. and headed out shortly after. Service was so-so. Menu didn't have... More

We salivated all the way from San Diego to Santa Barbara in anticipation of their great grilled seafood dinners. Started with a bowl of rich succulent clam chowder and French bread and butter. Wide variety of fresh seafood, grilled vegetables, great sauces.

We were expecting good seafood. The various fried items all tasted the same, as though they were battered in the same coating and fried in the same oil, the french fries might have been good but they weren't hot. The salad we ordered was not good, apple slices were not seasoned and the chicken was tasteless. The place is very... More

Eat at the Enterprise twice during a visit to Santa Barbara, I have to say that the Monday night Lobster Special at only 37 dollars has to go down as the best meal and also best bargain of my two weeks in California. We would love to go back someday !!!

My friends and I are her the night before our big 40 mile walk. It's was amazing! Amazing food, good service and really good cocktails! They were very busy the night we visited, but we still got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I can't wait to go back!

Description
Just a few blocks from the waterfront, our restaurant in Santa Barbara operates in a century-old brick building originally home to an industrial linen service for seaside hotels. While the Douglas fir floors, soaring ceilings, and glassed cupola have always been features of this historic structure, the sweeping arches facing State Street were added after much of the building crumbled during the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake. Built in 1917, the historic building now home to our Santa Monica restaurant was once a transfer station for the narrow-gauge Red Car line, Los Angeles' first mass transit system. It was later the repair house for the world-famous Pacific Ocean Park, home to the oldest wooden roller coaster west of the Mississippi. These days, we're still a stone's throw from Venice Beach, heart of where L.A. goes to play -- and eat.
