Joe's has been a long time favorite of ours. My husband enjoyed his "go to" prime rib sandwich and I had a fried chicken sandwich. Bother were well prepared and delicious.

Topped off our week-long getaway to southern California. One of the best top sirloins I've had in a restaurant and the fried chicken was just as good. They keep their promise for stiff drinks, the service was great. So good, we went back for breakfast on our way out of town and we were not disappointed. First rate coffee, chicken... More

This was an outstanding surprise! I could eat there every week for the rest of my life! The food was as if I had made it myself, and had nailed it! My husband is still raving about his prime rib. I had a NY strip cooked to perfection. We went back the next night and he had beautiful fish and... More

What a great breakfast .... one of the best omelets ever! Attentive and energetic staff who never let your coffee cup get empty. Service was fast even with a close to full restaurant.

Good for both lunch and breakfast. Like other places in Santa Barbara, it seems to be perpetually short-handed but the ladies are friendly and as efficient as they can be with there are not enough of them. The décor is kind of 50s but far from over the top and there are a lot of cool historical photographs of both... More

Walking down state street, came upon Joe's. Old style restaurant, lots of charm. Wooden booths, high ceilings. I was waiting for Michael Corleone to walk in for dinner w Sollozzo and Mcclusky. 😝 Great service with good beer selection. Good apps too.

Best home made cherry pie ever, manager bought me a beer when he learned it was our first visit, have been back three times in a week. Popular spot with locals, a bit noisy at times, always a good sign. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a stiff drink served in old school style with a delicious meal then this is your place. Nothing fancy but always dependably good. Extensive menu of steaks, seafood, chops, chicken and pasta. Large portions and always yummy. Can be crowded and very busy at times but you will be glad you came to this Santa... More

I was with friends who like basic American food, Joe's certainly met that category. We also had a baby stroller and they immediately had a spot for us on opposite where all others were being served and a perfect spot for the stroller. The server was attentive and helpful. I had a grilled turkey Cesar salad that was superb. My... More
