I couldn't get a Tuna Melt because it is not "in" these days. Have had breakfast there. It is good, but I like the previous "Farmer Boy" restaurant.

We arrived at 2:20 pm and learned that they close at 2:30. And yet they insisted that it was just fine and treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. The food is terrific, the place is spotless, the prices are very reasonable, and everyone is friendly.

Open for dinner now. Menu includes salads as well as comfort food. Enjoyed the BIG servings and good beer selection. Recommend!

This is a great find. Chicken and waffles were delicious, crab Benedict was perfect. (The service was not bad at all, but it was a not so busy weekday.) Very clean, and good food.

What a great diner -- awesome atmosphere, friendly wait staff. I had the patty melt. I'm something of a patty melt connoisseur (LOL), and it was possibly the best I've ever had!

Low on charm, filling on food, great prices and every bite delicious! Growing up surfing, I'd always come out of the water hungry. Now in my 50's I don't seek the large plates anymore... but damn, every bite was so yummy. So if your hungry and want that satisfying breakfast... make this your spot! But if you want that date... Farmer Boy was recently purchased and renovated by the family that brought us one of the great restaurants on planet earth, Brophy Brothers. They've revamped the menu, introducing delicious omelettes, burgers, wine and beer. The coffee is good as well. The service has been mostly very good the many times I've been there since their re-opening. The prices are reasonable,... More

Vastly improved under the new ownership. We are happy to have an alternative to Denny's that we can walk to. Word is getting out and hopefully the wait time won't get too long.

This is a diner with simple food so you would expect it to be well cooked since it is all fresh. That was not my experience. My Grill Cheese was burned on one side and not cooked on the other...you can't really send back a grill cheese but I was tempted. The fries were limp and on the cool side.... More
