Stayed at the hotel and decided to have the breakfast at the restaurant. It's a $30 buffet with tax and tip. There in is an omelet station, breads, and other pretty standard items. But pricey. Organic, locally sourced and in season food. Creatively cooked and presented. But always busts my $70 expense limit :)

I've heard two stories about where the name came from. The parcel of land it's built on or the fact that all the ingredients come from 104 miles around. Came here with a colleague after a long day at the convention center down the road. We were very happy with our meals and we thought the dinner menu was most interesting. Several of the items were a bit salty, and salt is often used to artificially boost the flavor of the food. My steak was OK, the mushroom were very good but the rest was too salty. We really appreciated this fine restaurant in Santa Clara Mariott hotel . Excellent and fine dinner with a great menu . Very good wines both Californian and French . The staff is very pleasant and professional . The bar after dinner is a very kind place.

We are never disappointed when we come here. We have been coming for over 6 years mostly for celebratory dinners and we've had no let downs. The chef is among the great ones.
