Fun, intimate, delicious, friendly, nicely priced breakfast time for all!!! You may end up waiting a little to be seated, but it is well worth the wait. Fresh local fruit and produce to make all the yummy eats!

Located off the downtown pedestrian mall, this is a great local spot, but very popular. Food is excellent, service was excellent too. It doesn't look like a big place but they do a good job getting you your food, so the wait is not too long. You won't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The choices of dishes, the quality and preparation, and the service are great. Very importantly, the espresso drinks and coffee are wonderful. Be aware that weekend brunch is very crowded and weekday breakfast also. There is a counter which is often available and the service there is fast.

This is the breakfast place in downtown Santa Cruz. Nothing fancy or extraordinary (except the service). It's a great place to meet a friend to share a meal and a hot/cold beverage. The menu items never vary from one time to the next and they are open to substitutions which is a bonus. They can accommodate vegetarians/vegans with quite a... More

The locals have known about this place for years. The WSC is a fun place to grab a hearty breakfast. Entering the restaurant will bring face to face with all walks of life that call Santa Cruz home. Young, old, Professionals, college kids, families, you name it. You may even find a few Santa Cruz Warriors basketball players carb loading... More

ON a random trip through santa cruz we looked up breakfast places to eat. One was the Harbor Cafe- which we heard was good but out of our way this time, and then Linda's seabreeze Cafe which was Vegan and we felt a tad "meaty" for breakfast, and the Walnut Ave Cafe which we chose. It is downtown so may... More

Loved this little cafe. Very busy and noisy but so picturesque. Had delicious eggs Benedict and coffee - highly recommend for delightful off the beaten track eatery!

We stopped in Santa Cruz for breakfast and found this restaurant by chance. The food was delicious and the service great also. The waffles, ahi Benedict and the eggs Mexican were all super. Visit this place, you won't be disappointed.

Don't want to damn this place with faint praise, we had a good and inexpensive lunch with good service, close to closing time with no complaints, very good on that front but don't quite get how this rates as highly as it does, everything was good but nothing outstanding. Good value for money for sure, straightforward and safe but no... More
