We went here to taste their beer and were not impressed. The pale ales were very bitter without much hop taste. They have a full menu of of pub grub.

My wife and I shared the Tempura beer battered salmon. It was lightly fried with Japanese panko bread crumbs and served with a wasabi tartar sauce and teriyaki garlic chili sauce. the only difference between the salmon bites appetizer ($11.95) and the salmon fish and chips ($13.95) appears to be cole slaw vs. chips. I highly recommend the fries-very good... More

Stopped into this little spot for some Sunday afternoon beers, burgers and football. Had a decent time hanging out, trying some new beers and meeting new people. But unfortunately the food wasn't as good as the service. The burgers had a frozen and puck like consistency but the fries were tasty! Also would have stayed longer but for some reason... More

Nice little local brewery within walking distance to the beach. The food isn't that great and a bit pricey for the selection, but the beer is pretty good.

I've been there five or six times - it's only two blocks from my house - and I still don't have much to say. The food's alright, not great. The homebrew's alright, not great (except their Botweiser - their Botweiser's really good). They're located at the seediest, most unattractive spot in the Seabright area. Most of their clientele are dirty... More

We have lived in the Bay Area for over 40 years and visited Santa Cruz and Capitola countless times. Our good friend who does the bar service at this establishment recommended we go there. Upon entering around noon on a Saturday we encountered a hostess who was sitting down with such a short dress it hardly covered her. She then... More

I love to visit the Seabright Brewery on the first evening of my regular visit to Santa Cruz. I was delighted to hear that there is a new brewer who keeps the great taste of Blur IPA and Pelican Pale while adding a true variety on their rotating taps. The service is always great and I think the changes have... More

As little breweries proliferate all over the U.S. we have gone to several. This one in Santa Cruz is a jewel. Very popular, they serve good food and back it up with fine beers. Weather permitting, the big outdoor area is a favorite, and we liked it because it was dog-friendly.

We both had a caeser salad as well as a couple of craft beers. The salad was good and so was the beer. We went at their happy hour and enjoyed some music in the early evening. There is both inside and outside/patio seating. Go at happy hour as the prices are much more reasonable.

We love sitting outside on their patio and their beer choices. I always get their steamed clams and my husband and I both get their wonderful clam chowder.

Seabright Brewery has had a certain “it factor” which has made us a destination spot since 1988.

We are the spot in Santa Cruz for fresh, handcrafted beers! We believe that beer tastes best when it’s made fresh, not having spent weeks in a warehouse or on a shelf. That’s why our beers are made right here, on a daily basis. We use only the finest ingredients: domestic and imported malted barley and hops, yeast and water.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, our restaurant is where you’ll find not only huge burgers but the best burger, and french fries in Santa Cruz. Same goes for our cheeseburgers, fresh salads, pasta dishes, and daily specials.
