This is the real deal. There are no crunchy cornflakes and russian dressing on your sushi. The sushi is generous, very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Service is great. Good value.

Through out my life I have been trying to find a place as good as this, and with all the hundreds of sushi places I have been to I still have to say that that one dinner at Sushi King was the best sushi I have ever had. I highly recommend it because it'll always be worth it no matter... More

Sushi King, is our neighorhood sushi restaurant, and it's around the corner from where we live, and we've been going there for years on a regular basis. The food is excellent and very fresh, the service is fast and friendly, and we give this restaurant a high rating.

I stumbled upon Sushi King. My wife and I were visiting LA and driving down Wilshire contemplating dinner. I'm in the process of telling her I want sushi, and at that very moment we just happen to drive past Sushi King. I point and say, "There! There's a sushi place! It's a hole-in-the-wall...it's gotta be good!" The rest is history.... More

While the outside appearance is not the best, this little place is a great local secret! Try the miso-marinated sea bass or the yellow tail sushi (most generous cuts anywhere!) Owner-operated, great little spot!

This is a very small restaurant, and the entrance is uninviting. However,if you can get in and get a seat the food is delicious! This is a favorite of many locals. The food is well prepared, served promptly and tastes delicious. Go and try it if you like sushi.

Drove by this hole in the wall looking place, located near a small pizza joint, and didn't think it would be all that great, but decided to try it since I was hungry. What a surprise! Freshest sushi I've ever had! I ordered the King Combo, reasonably priced at $22 and very filling (comes with miso soup). The tuna was... More

Best sushi placer in the Westside. Sit on Saito San's side of the bar (first sushi chef, right on the corner) and you will not be disappointed! Favorites: sea urchin with quail egg on top and salmon skin salad, two rather basic item executed with impeccable consistency and generously portion!

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
